He seems to think we all live next-door to him or are his relatives. I guess that's why I call him Onkel Willi. You just can't help loving the guy though. Rest in peace Onkel Willi. The shadows really mess with the perspective. It’s hard to visualize where the light source is coming from.

you can make your own magic white with your normal thick white oil paint and lindseed oil.
on youtube are tutorials how to mix it right. have fun!

Magic white is the key to wet on wet style. But I do use black canvas with straight paint first using transparent colors.
