This guy was living his best life. Sip a few glasses of wine and create great art on camera, often seemingly 100% improv'd. Bill, thank you for paving the way for so many- both famous and not. I watch these videos when I need a calm smile, and sometimes a good hardy laugh.

Bill never fails to entertain us with his approach to art. His wet on wet technique is a fascinating process to follow along with. His legacy is unique even after seven years. The memory of Bill the artist/tutor will surpass time. 😊 🏴🇬🇧👍
I always find it funny how much paint, Bill, Bob et al have squeezed out on their pallets. That stuff is like 30 bucks a tube. They have a pallet worth 180 bucks before they even touch a canvas!
I'm a miser, I put out about 5ml of each color, and get more if I need too!

My Mum's favorite show. She was always a good artist- from the time she was in high school. But when she started watching Bill Alexander, she bought gesso panels, oil paints and brushes. She made lots and lots of beautiful art. Her paintings are all through my house, and the homes of my brother and sister. She made some specific works for each of us. My Dad was artistic too, and all of us kids inherited some of their talent but none of us approaches my Mum's genius.

It’s crazy how bill can paint stuff that looks more realistic then anyone else.
I love him saying "fire in" all the time, I've always said fire in....when referring to painting certain things. I like Bob Ross too but there's something else about bills paintings. I prefer bills even though I knew of Bob Ross first when I was a kid. I'm from the UK. We didn't have bill, we had Nancy kominsky and then Bob Ross. I wish bill had been on TV here. It's taken me til I'm 40 odd to actually see bill and know about him via RUclips. How mental is that? I was born in 75 but it's taken me til 2022 to know anything at all about bill and he was first 🙂 they should show bills stuff again on TV.especially in the UK

I grew up watching Bob, then a happy little accident, I found out Alexander was Bob`s mentor. Bob, even though I liked him, he stil hid some techniques, where Alexander`s, has true passion for his work, and he explained everything in his videos.
I saw him in a live presentation in 1978. Entertaining and AMAZING!!
