    Its the healthiest water ever! . . . but sometimes you see a dead deer in there, or a crow . . . I shouldn't have told you that, forget it! That water is clear as it comes! hahaha . . .
    What a treasure this man is. He's just bursting with life, the light and the dark, and its all beautiful.

    Thank you! I've been telling people for years there was a painter i used to watch before Bob Ross and nobody knew what i was talking about. Now i know i'm not crazy!

    The OG of oil painting . WITHOUT Bill there’s no BOB Ross . Both are great to watch and learn from

    • @atlantic_love
      @atlantic_love 2 года назад +1

      OG as in what? It sure as heck better not be 'Original God', because NEITHER of those two could come anywhere close to the dead (and living) masters of oil painting. Bill was way better than Bob.

    • @roachthekid273
      @roachthekid273 2 года назад +3

      @@atlantic_love I agree. I like Bill more as well. I meant it like the “original gangster” as in a figure of speech. I’m not saying that either of the two are the best oil painters ever known or that they stand up to the original ( or current) masters. But that Bill Alexander deserves more credit for his amazing personality and style that was handed down to bob.

    I have tinnitus and one of the things that I find gives me much relief is listening to Bill talk. Had forgotten how far beyond his successor (as happy as he was) that William Alexander was as an instructor. Could do more with less than anyone else I have watched.

    The mighty white on the mighty canvas!🖌🖌🖌 My mom was always a good artist but Bill Alexander inspired her to get back to serious painting. She was always quoting him. " Alizarian crimson and Prussian blue"

      Some of us can look at the sky and see shapes and all sorts of things in the clouds, bill had this talent to a great degree except he saw things in canvas and could allow others to see it when he painted, to me he will always be a great master his realism was unequal in the time frame he was allowed to paint a mere 28 mins.

      Seeburgm I desagree, in this case the student surpasses the master, Bob was able to perfect the technique in such a way, that just with a few brushstrokes you could see the sky with clouds included. Bob Ross was way better.

      Dave Steps, True Dave, but he did make tons of money selling his paints, brushes and instructional courses. Bob Ross inc. became a multi million dollar Enterprise.
