What a lovely introduction video. I've just come over from Geordie Granma. I became disabled in lockdown (cannot walk very far or stand in queues). I'm 73 , married for 52+ years to Steve who is now my carer although he has quite bad arthritis in his knees so has his own issues. We have 2 daughters & 5 grandchildren aged from 9 to 18. Hubby was in the military for 18 yrs & and we've lived around the country as well as for a while as part of the British Embassy Staff in Wellington NZ. I have worked as a Senior Lab Technician (started in a Hospital Path Lab in London) in Co Ed schools & Academies, single sex grammar schools & Further Education Colleges. Prior to my retirement I retrained as Admin staff & worked for BMI airline & then part time for a parcel courier company. Been retired for 15 yrs & occupy myself making cards and beaded genuine gemstone jewellery - need to sell more! Of course not forgetting grandchildren who live quite a distance from us, so usually longer stays with stopovers.

Walk and Talk is really helpful. As your walking, you dont always realise how far you've walked. Is there tea and coffee stops. Keep having fun, Happy retirement, nice to hear journey. 🎉

Hi Rhi 🙋🏼♀️ I found your channel via Tina (Tina’s talk time 😀) It’s a small world isn’t it? I used to live in Shrewsbury years ago, leaving there to train as a nurse in the RAF ! I also worked as a nurse in Abu Dhabi, and spent a lot of weekends in Dubai, which was in the 80’ so I know what you mean about the comparison between then and now 😮 But I loved the UAE 😀 I’ m now retired and live in Torquay 😀 I look forward to watching your older and future videos, and good luck with your channel( roll on 1000 subs 😂👍)

Hi Rhian, I found your channel last week when it showed up on my recommendations I clicked on your video when I saw the word petite. I’m 5ft and love fashion makeup all the usual stuff. Upon watching that video I immediately subscribed. There are very few petite content creators on RUclips at the moment. I think you’re great, very nice fashion style and more importantly you are very relatable which is important for me personally when watching a content creator. I really enjoyed watching this video and finding out more about you & your amazing well traveled life. Thank you for doing this video. BTW: I love that F&F green dress it’s gorgeous on you.

Interesting life so far Rhi. Bedford not far from me. Drive past on my way to Suffolk visiting family. You are very busy. I used to volunteer a lot when younger and fitter. These days I tire easily. I did try doing the 20 minute daily walk but ended up with bursitis in my hip….may not be connected but it’s put a stop to walking far. Physio appointment this week. Thanks for telling us about your life. Be good to meet your mum someday. X❤
