Cosplay amazes me. This art form has really come a long way. The average cosplay artist has to know how to sculpt, paint, create basic circuits, use 3d modeling software and 3D printers, and sew. It's nuts.
I'm so amazed at how you do that. We were cos-playing Star Trek and Star Wars in the early-mid 1980s and the amount of things you can do that we had no access to (weren't dreamed of yet) is just astounding. I remember doing the Princess Leia red "pajamas" with the white cape (Bespin Outfit) from Empire Strikes Back for my sister and the Star Trek The Motion Picture "footie pajama" uniforms for myself. Small publicity pictures out of a Star Log magazine, trying to figure out what they were using without seeing a movie footage, creating our own patterns and sewing or using the sticky fabric bond, pillow foam for the insides of some things, and a bicycle reflector for the Star Trek uniform belt, it was all done by hand and our fingers crossed. Heck, I still do conventions and now I'm an author guest and have a wheelchair that I want to steam-punk and I carry one of Asia Erikson's Werepup dolls (I write vampires but have werewolves, go figure). You are amazing, I've followed your work and am very enthusiastic to see more.
I think it's great that you point out how a work in progress can sometimes seem "weird and not look right". I have run into this obstacle myself in the middle of a project and had doubts, but just pushed on ahead "Trusting The Process". So glad to see this video after all the teases on Instagram! Thanks for sharing all your amazing work! Please pet Zelda and Midna for me! :D
I've been watching your videos for 4 years now, never comented, only the usual "like-button-smashing" 😅 but this one is just too amazing, mind blowing and beautiful to not let you know about it. You 2 make the best team in cosplay making and I'm so glad you both enjoy it so much and have the same passion for it (holy Corgi, Benni is just a master of air brushing and 3D printing at this point 🙌) Can't wait to see the next project, I'll be watching of course. A dream of mine is actually seeing you at one comic/anime/videogame convention in my country (Costa Rica). The organizers were asking which cosplayers we will like to see and of course I commented about you, so fingers crossed hehe
LOVED seeing this come together. I especially love how you call out which things become much easier with 20 years of crafting experience, such as patterning and knowing intuitively how to deconstruct complicated shapes, and which things are still struggles, like that part of the process where everything looks weird and you're not sure how it will turn out. I have almost 10 years of cosplay crafting experience (not quite 20!) and I relate to some of these experiences, and in other areas it's interesting to see what 10 more years may bring!
I never comment on videos but this is amazing. I’ve been playing a LOT of TWW and this is a killer version of Xal’atath. Absolutely amazing, so true to the source material, and it *moves* so well. I also really always liked “how it’s made” videos and the play-by-play on this is detailed without being overwhelming, which is a hard balance to strike. Mindblowing.
I'm watching this on my second monitor while actuially playing WoW right now. I'm in love with this game and I think Blizzard did a great job in creating Xal'Ateth as a villain. Just as you did a great job creating this Cosplay.
WoW cosplay is the reason I started following you what feels like ages ago. This character, I swear, was made for you to cosplay. So beautiful and detailed, as always. And hopefully your questing will go well ❤
Of all the cosplay costumes and characters I've seen of yours. Xal' atath is the perfect character and cosplay for you. You look just like her! Amazing job
Well done.. I always enjoy your creativity. Xal'atath is most suitable for you.. it is perfect. I know Benny done a Blender video before, but I just can't get it and struggle using blender. Perhaps he could do another Blender for absolute dummies in the future, with detailed instructions.. like ok this is here and you find this there kinda thing ;) thank you and I hope you all are still happy in Portugal :D
Caught a glimps of you at Gamescom in your Xal'atath cosplay. It was really inspiring to see such a beautiful costume while also wearing a cosplay myself made with one of your patterns! Impressive work and a great video as always
Wirklich mega!
I love watching all the creativity you have shown us. It has made me think of modifying things that I own to make them feel better for my personal use.
This cosplay is amazing. Youve outdone yourself Kamui. Been following you for many, many years but this costume is the best you have ever made. It looks AMAZING. It looks BETTER than the model. Im in awe of your skill..
I'm very zero level super beginner cosplay maker..so much mile to learn...but watching you and your team cos-work..it so Inspiring. Thank you for the awesome video and making Xa'atath come to life...😍
AHHHHHH I'm so glad to finally see this video, what a cool project!! it's so amazing seeing how you continue to show your love for this game. even though this is a sponsored build, it's so clear that you adore WoW and its characters!!
Y'all are so GOOD at this! What a spectacular result! Like, I see the skill that goes into your work, but you make it all look effortless. Beautifully done ❤
That was absolutely amazing. It's no wonder you get the big commissions. You guys do excellent work and I always learn a lot from watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing with us! Please give Zelda and Midna some lovings from your fans.
I'm on a mission to create a Xal'atath costume. I'm interested in those orbs over her shoulder. I'm making experiments with plasma globes filled with xenon. - I cannot loot her when the time will come I'm afraid of wiping my guild. 🤣
"The land of Beavers, Maple Syrup and being sorry" As a Canadian, I loved that comment 😂 Amazing Cosplay, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire process.
This is amazing video. Like how you showed the algorithm of costume making. I'm not a WoW admirer, but the video is inspiring to build something. Aldo I usually afraid to spend money on myself
Your cosplay is amazing! I really admire how well it’s made! Love how you used EVA foam to do the trims. It looks gorgeous. I hope you don’t mind me asking though-how do you wash and clean the cosplay after using this gold trim technique? I’m scared of the Eva foam absorbing water and getting mouldy (if not damaged) from even a gentle hand wash 😣
Fantastic work and awesome photos and great video! And yes, Warcraft is actually still improving in design. I hope it continues like this for a few more years.
Simply Impressive as always. Though I know it is more experience, but you two make it look so easy :) Also slightly jealous. :) Keep it up and wonder what amazing work you're planning next
I love watching this process. I always wanted to cosplay Roadhog since im built like him but i dont have the patience for this process. Looks amazing. Great Job Everyone!
IM SCREAMING!!! THIS TURNED OUT AMAZING!!!! There's so much time and hard work put into all your cosplays and it seriously shows!!!!! Thank you for always posting such informative and easy to follow along videos!
I have learned so much about what is NOT needed in a costume from watching this to keep the heat down. Thank you so much for making worbla and EVA less scary!
Just first video i watched. But maybe, just a tip or even something to look at for you: check out lumilor colors. Since you spraying so much and do the coloring, maybe lumilor is something for you. Lumilor is a light up paint, not fluorescent or something else, just with electronics. would suit a lot of purposes for cosplay i guess? :) #noadvertisement

I learned most of my EVA knowledge from you, and I'm still just as enthused to build all the things. So THANK YOU for sharing!
Awww, this is so amazing to hear! Thank you! 😊
Another one bites the dust ( Someone who does cosplay as a hobby not as a profession )
imagine you have over a million subscribers and an actuall cool hobby were you craft stuff and someone tells you to get a job lol
That epic process was so awesome to see! 25 minutes of pure crafting goodness 🥰 The costume turned out amazing! What a dream team ❤️
Thank you so much! 😊
Long-form videos are always cool. Thank you for taking the time to show the processes and collaborators.

100% agree!!
Always love to see your longer build videos! The shorts are a nice teaser but I loooove seeing all the details behind the build :D
Thank you very much! 😊
Yesss I totally agree with this!! Thank you very much for putting out this video on youtube!

I'm not even into cos-play and I was blown away. You all have mad skillz!!!
Epic Job!! Truly cosplay Pros for sure! I appreciate the in-depth vid, it’s so cool to see the process (those shorts are just that… short 😂) 🤟😎🤟
Agree With You. 😁
See the Shorts just as a little teaser! 😉
this turned out so amazing! You always bring your characters to life with these cosplays!
The 3d printed orbs and gems are fantastic too!

Wunderschöne Arbeit weiter so!
Nice :)
Woah vielen Dank und viel Erfolg! 😊
This is pretty freakn incredible. This is professional quality. It always feels good to go from a hobby to a professional.
Caught a glimps of you at Gamescom in your Xal'atath cosplay. It was really inspiring to see such a beautiful costume while also wearing a cosplay myself made with one of your patterns! Impressive work and a great video as always
Another amazing build! Love your 4-legged "assistants"

Amazing work! Xal'atath is easily one of my favorite characters in wow! 💜
So much details! Fits you so well. Wouldn't mind longer video's! They're so helpful
Magnifique 😍😍 Cosplay vraiment beau !
Awww, vielen lieben Dank für diesen super süßen Kommentar! 💜💜💜
Professional stuff. This is amazingly well done. Love the look of the "gemstones" especially, in combination with the violet satin fabric.
This cosplay is amazing. Youve outdone yourself Kamui. Been following you for many, many years but this costume is the best you have ever made. It looks AMAZING. It looks BETTER than the model. Im in awe of your skill..

I think the secret to making cosplays this amazing is to have corgi dogs as pets. Hahahaha.
Yes, that’s very true, ha ha! 😅
Oh, the resources at our fingertips, compared to when I did cosplay back in the 70s/80s/90s! I'm so inspired again! 💖
Often long videos can be drawn out but this one was jam packed there was so much work to show off! Great result.
AHHHHHH I'm so glad to finally see this video, what a cool project!! it's so amazing seeing how you continue to show your love for this game. even though this is a sponsored build, it's so clear that you adore WoW and its characters!!

Wow you are Xal'atath! You looked amazing. I knew it would come out great but it was even better than I thought. Excellent work!
Don't listen to them. You love what you do and get paid. Not many can even say that. Love all your creations and the pups!!
Your cosplay is amazing! I really admire how well it’s made! Love how you used EVA foam to do the trims. It looks gorgeous. Love longer videos from you! The foam gold edges on the fabric looks amazing!
Perfection only has one name... kamuiCosplay💜💜💜

I have learned so much about what is NOT needed in a costume from watching this to keep the heat down. Thank you so much for making worbla and EVA less scary!
Una de las mejores en esto 🔥🔥👏👏
I would have thought the eva gold details would have made the fabric drape not look right but if anything it enhanced the overall look. Well done
She definitely has all of her crafting professions to level 100 already
This cosplay is stunning ! You did a great job, you can proud of yourself 🎉
Sooo fantastic 😮😮krass fantastic design ❤❤❤❤
