Being a huge WoW fan, Bolvar's Hammer is a weapon I instantly fell in love with and just HAD to build. It lights up, can switch between different color modes, has a motion sensor build in and even creates smoke. I used 451 LEDs in total, it weights 2.3 kg and took me and my husband around 150 hours to build. It's a really cool project and I really hope you like the tutorial video!

I will most likely end up doing this myself, once I have a few other investments out of the way. As I'm considering using this hammer as a basis to design a completely custom one for a cosplay of Morgoth from the Silmarillion. Or at least, my interpretation of him.

I agree, it's exactly why I bought the complete digital bundle. While I'm not sure what else they could cover that's not in their videos they completely deserve support. The fact they include links to the material and websites where they improved their skills is invaluable. You can tell they love what they do and the fact they will unabashedly share that with us along with some humor and some tips from their own faux pau's really strikes me as a genuine love of learning and creating some cool stuff.

Svetlanta’s building and sculpting skills are most impressive. Mr. Benjamin’s pattern-making and painting skills are so crazy good. Both of you show so much dedication and patience to perfect even the smallest the details. Together, you two are easily the very best in this field. Sometimes overlooked is how impressive your videos are, too. They are clear, complete, and still show off both of your charming and funny personalities. Oh, I almost forgot: CORGIS!

I have to admit when I first saw this I dismissed it as a little childish. When I watched the entire video however I was captivated by the incredible level of talent this young lady has. The skills she uses in the construction of this device are way beyond a great many of us but the vision required to see how it could be constructed then the way in which she executes it are simply stunning. The detail in the painting is amazing and the skill required to put together the platted handle is simply breathtaking. Then when she smiles that unbelievably infectious smile everywhere seems to light up. An incredibly talented and beautiful young lady, many thanks for brightening up my day.

Amazing to see how "easily" it is actually possible to create those elaborate shapes. I thought it would be using a lot of 3D printing, but seeing the usage of the Foam Clay - I never heard about before - showed, how much creativity that material enables (and blew my mind in the process)
    Keep it up!

Okay, 2 days ago I printed out my first pepakura model, built it and coated it with resin. So hyped - it's getting real!
Then I watched this video, wondering how to get texture/painting, how they do it.
Holy moly, this is INSANE. Beyond amazing. Thanks for sharing!
P.S. Now I know why I tutored Arduino at University haha *some fancy led cosplay incoming*

Layering off of a black base can give you good natural shadowing and masking. But it also offers a decent base to layer esthetic cosmetics. It would seem like it doesn't, but its a goto for most necrotic prop design. It looks amazing, just offering a step that would reduce some time in coloring.

@KamuiCosplay please make a showcase video in a very dark(close to pitch black) environment if possible.
It would be nice to see the full potential of this hammer (smoke and light) if possible.
You are literally the only person on Earth who can do this.
