Is it possible to create a full armor set + weapon in just 2 weeks? Blizzard asked me to bring the epic Necromancer from Diablo IV to life and I accept the challenge! This was a super insane project without much sleep, but I’m super proud of it! 😁

Sewing Level-up Tip: When doing your test runs and mockups, especially with super fitted or stretch garments, use fabric that behaves similarly to what you will use in the final garment. If your mockup fabric is [stretchier/not as stretchy/not as sturdy/way thicker/in any way significantly different] than your fashion material, it can lead to the final product behaving unpredictably (or, in the worst of cases, the final product is unwearable, which is The Actual Worst[tm], especially if you're in a time crunch).

I started checking your videos because I wanted to cosplay as a Necromancer at our South Africa Comicon, I am so happy and a bit jealous with this costume it is absolutely awesome! Can confirm Blender is great for cosplay!! I learned with Beni's tutorials for my current cosplay and what a life saver it was; i had no clue where to start but it helped me out a lot !

Using that knit fabric as a faux chainmail is actually an old Hollywood trick they did to reduce noise during filming, added weight to actors and costs. I think you nailed it

Crazy how speedy this went! Very nice speed-to-quality ratio 😀
For a large weapon with a blade like that may I suggest a finger-sander. I find that its belt like sanding design makes it so much quicker than the round drimmel.
Cool idea for the scythe. Since the blade is detachable, you could make a bunch of variation blades and other polearm type weapon "heads".
Really love the necromancer costume from Diablo IV looks just as great from in game even the make up and Runes, that Scythe was epic looking too great cosplay ❤️ 👏
