I must say; for someone whose strength is not sewing, this is AMAZING. Typically, you would put the right side of the lining against the right side of the outer fabric and machine see them together and leave a bit open so you can flip right side out. You would then either hand sew a very small section (like a few inches long) or top-stitch it closed. The way you did it is perfectly valid and, in fact, is a much more professional way of doing it, lol 😅! It's much more difficult than the more common method. So major props for putting on that kind of effort. That being said, I think you may need to rethink this notion that you're no good at seeing 😉. You may not prefer the method, but but you're definitely highly skilled at it. Also, the draping 👀. I know you've basically been doing tight draping (when you draw your patterns on tape), but the way you did the coat is a skill that many seamstresses have not mastered, or even considered, lol 😅! Take this from someone who taught himself to sew in high school and took Fashion Design in college and went on to make my own business sewing costumes 😉. You may not have much experience, but you DO have skill in the field of sewing 😊!
12:15 Denise Winter using Lego to form the frame for the pour cast mold for the vision is a game changer! It may not be the first time it was done, but it's the first I'd seen it. Very clever.
Just, wow. As a Beidou main and a huge fan, I was so happy to see you make this outfit! I'm an artist and I once drew Beidou with this whole outfit and the Blackcliff Slasher, which took over 30 hours. I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of work that went into recreating the whole thing in real life! Genshin's character designs are so crazy complex. Even the simpler ones like Beidou has a crazy amount of details. I appreciate you recreating every detail faithfully!
Definitely seems to be time-consuming, but the end product was so great. It was nice to see that even her, a pro, asks for help on certain areas where she knows she doesn't excel. Makes a newbie like me feel at ease that asking for help is a strength in itself
The cosplay looks sooo amazing! I love how you showed how you thoroughly worked on every single detail with the costume! Keep up the great work Svetlana 🥰👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ph my goodness was absolutely wonderful!! The amount of detail from the stockings to the hairpin had me in complete shock!! I learned a lot of different things that will hopefully help me with my future cosplays!!
I just have to say this video format is absolutely top notch!! It felt easy to follow along, not too rushed but didn't drag on and on. As well as felt really personal and like we were having a cosplay crafting day together and I LOVED THAT. I hope more videos come out like this in the future because this was amazing 👏 🙌 ❤️❤️❤️
I just wanted to thank Svetlana and Benni for inspiring us all these years. Because of their youtube videos, tutorials and other content on social media I decided to make my very first armor. It would be awesome if you make another genshin cosplay♥️
This video highlights all the work that goes into building a cosplay from the ground up and it's beautiful! The cosplay is beautiful too. Also, resin printers are just so wonderful. :D!
I am so pleased with the outcome and I'm so happy with the materials that she used because it makes her look like she's in the game! I've never seen someone pull it off so well
As much as I love your complicated builds , I really appreciate your sewing cosplays , this one is such a gem !! I don’t even play genshin, but it’s so pretty !!❤
Your work is phenomenal, seriously, all the hand sewing you did on this piece…good grief. So patient and dedicated. Absolutely 💯 % authentic COOL!! The finished outfit is ridiculous, Geeze!! Well done
What a good cosplay, you did the outfit nicely and had a friend who help you with the vision. The detail is really accurate + the Black Cliff slasher is a nice add on. Well done on the cosplay overall
I have a laser cutter but not sure if mine will do fabric..... Guess there's only one way to find out! Also evertime I watch this I have to tell myself I don't need a 3D printer. Amazing work as usual. I find when I lack cosplay motivation I watch your vids and I'm ready to go again. Usually when my household are asleep.
#KamuiCosplay I'm very impressed with this great result! Stunning and beautiful. Hard work, dedication, patience and great tools... a good cocktail for your amazing and detailed crafts! I'm in love with it! All the best and I follow you!
Your techniques and workmanship is amazing!!! So clean and beautiful. Your cosplay is flawless so much work. You should be very proud of all the work you do and thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us and make these videos.
Finally! The full process and look! I mostly kept up with your RUclips shorts, I was always amazed with the amount of work and detail that went to each item. It's so cool to finally see the finished product, well done!!
This is so amasing! There i soo much detail! One thing isn't the earing suppose to be on the right ear? I love your amasing costumes, props and what you do in general!
I'm always amazed by the ability of cosplayers to completely transform themselves into toally different people. And the process behind making those costumes is equally amazing.
As someone who has also has Beidou in the party for most of the time I can say - you totally nailed the costume, and truly made this wonderful character come to life.
Great video tutorial. Thank you so much for showing your entire back kitchen. Thanks also for the great list of links to materials. It's inspiring and very generous.😘
Aaaaah all the sewing!! OMG! I watched this video because I want to do a certain Cosplay that needs a lot of sewing too. And I was afraiiiid af! But now I feel more motivated. And there were many helpful tipps in this video. Your Beidou really turnded out amazing! Thank you!
Whoo hoo!!! You FINALLY released one of your full-length videos again, instead of all the mini-shorts. THANK YOU!!! Oh yeah, the Korgis were great "assistants", as usual. 😻😻😻
I like the tons of work you do, and you enjoy that, that's amazing, i so satisfited to see someone enjoying they work, everytime looks shinning and happy, that's the secret when you do something with love, that's is amazing.
Amazing cosplay! I really appreciate your use of fake leather and fur. I am a person who tries not to use leather and fur and sometimes that can make finding materials difficult
That looks great! I don’t play Genshin, but I’m familiar enough with a lot of the characters to recognize how in-depth the costumes are, so Im always impressed when I see a Genshin costume made from scratch.
Ok, confession. I didn't "watch" most of this. I just listened while I worked ...Svetlana's accent and diction are so cute! I could listen to her all day. Finished product is very good though!!!!
Your cosplay turned out sooo amazing! Both of you did an amazing job 💯 it was so cool to see the process along the way too. I’d totally love if you did more collabs with them pls Hoyoverse 😭😭
I love your work!!! It looked really amazing 😁 Beidou is my favorite character in the game and I want to cosplay her too but in a male version based on a fanmade drawing that I found and I loved it… but I couldn't find patterns for the capelet so now I'm trying to use your video as a guide to make it 😁
I know you’re still not comfortable with sewing, but you really do a great job with it. It has become one of your strong suits. This was another fantastic job by you and Benni. It was nice to see you collaborate with friends, too. Really excellent job.
I can't imagine how expensive that red silk must have been. It looks immaculate and not cheap at all, unlike the synthetic fabric you usually find in the store-bought cosplays. I consider myself a pretty decent sewer but you've got me shocked at your skill here!!
That's such a good Cosplay ! it looks amazing. I see that the cuts on the back always gives people problems , must be really hard to adjust it . A great job.
You can no longer claim that sewing is not your forte after this costume 😂seriously though, super impressive work! I know the entire process couldn't be captured in a 23 minute video but I can imagine the countless iterations and fine tuning required to make that costume fit you so well. Kudos to the whole team as well! And the corgis for being so cute!
Excellent job on the costume! Every last detail was captured perfectly and the results speak for themselves! Nice work! Also, you have the cutest and most precious Corgis in the world! ^_^
Your big projects always make me want to make some cosplay, but then I remember how much time and effort it takes. ;) I'm sure I'll find a character that inspires me enough eventually, though. :D
Oh my gosh. This Beidou Cosplay looks so amazing! I really really love Beidou and I wish I could do a Cosplay of her too. You are doing a great job with sewing. Thank you so much for you inspiring video
THIS WAS SO COOL!!! OH MY GOD!! I am so happy to see someone making Beidou cosplay? She's my absolute favourite character and seeing such a detailed cosplay is amazing? That must have taken forever. Thank you so much for blessing us with your hard work
Svetlana: sewing is not my strength
Also Svetlana: *proceed to make her own pattern and to sew an extremely intricate costume*
*also add 5kg of glue* xD
also cosplay now is just printing everything out and using a laser cutting machine lol
Every time Svetlana says sewing isn't her strong suit, the press X to doubt meme appears in my mind.
Svetlana? Is she russian or smth
@@Ellissgd Common in Slavic places.
Как же много русских. Открыл видос с косплеем и там тоже светлана. Емае)
Same tbh
Yeah I can’t do that anymore I broke my X button from past vids
Svetlana: "Sewing is clearly not my strength"
Me: *Press X to doubt*

I've never seen a beidou cosplay this beautiful or detailed before. It looks amazing!!
I must say; for someone whose strength is not sewing, this is AMAZING. OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I love your step by step video of making your own Beidou's costume. You deserve all the thumbs on my hands and feet!!!
凄すぎです!!!!見ててとってもワクワクしました!!いろんな工夫が散りばめられていて素晴らしい!!もう全キャラやって欲しいくらい制作過程見るの楽しい
I am so pleased with the outcome and I'm so happy with the materials that she used because it makes her look like she's in the game! I've never seen someone pull it off so well
Outstanding work! Every part of this was fascinating, you've got quite the team behind you!
As much as I love your complicated builds , I really appreciate your sewing cosplays , this one is such a gem !! I don’t even play genshin, but it’s so pretty !!❤
Your sewing peojects are actually some of my favorite videos to watch so I'm glad you picked another fabric project to tackle. It turned out AMAZING!
Your work is phenomenal, seriously, all the hand sewing you did on this piece…good grief. So patient and dedicated. Absolutely 💯 % authentic COOL!! The finished outfit is ridiculous, Geeze!! Well done

Beidou my queen ❤❤❤ Thank you for making this so my eyes could witness The Captain in all her endless glory!
That's a lot of Wonder Clips, but I can't argue with success!! What a gorgeous costume!
This cosplay is FANTASTIC. Beidou is one of my fave Genshin characters, and you look stellar in this!
Your techniques and workmanship is amazing!!! So clean and beautiful. Your cosplay is flawless so much work.
You should be very proud of all the work you do and thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us and make these videos.
Incredible job! The clip near the end, lip syncing with the game audio, was perfect!
I really enjoyed the teamwork of this one, bringing in extra help for the jewelry and wig.
This looks like a lot of work but the results are fantastic! I’m still in the “buy cheap clothes from the thrift store and paint it” stage.
Another great looking costume! The details are awesome. The hair piece was also a very good addition that made everything come together.
I know right! Shes so cool
Finally! The full process and look! I mostly kept up with your RUclips shorts, I was always amazed with the amount of work and detail that went to each item. It's so cool to finally see the finished product, well done!!

can’t believe i haven’t seen this sooner! super underrated, amazing job!
That bucket of fabric clips is such a flex. Idk what you are paying for them but at my local craft store you get 5 for like $20.
Looked great! It gives me anxiety just to think how long it took to finish it, great job! ❤️
As someone who has also has Beidou in the party for most of the time I can say - you totally nailed the costume, and truly made this wonderful character come to life.
My favourite character reproduced with so much love. You got yourself a subscriber!

Everytime Svetlana drops a new cosplay I get inspired to up my cosplay game

insane skills and incredible love for details - hands down the best beidou cosplay I've seen so far
Amazing cosplay! I really appreciate your use of fake leather and fur. I am a person who tries not to use leather and fur and sometimes that can make finding materials difficult
Svetlana should work for costume design for live action adaptations of anime and games for Netflix.
Better than Hollywood
Genshin costumes has so many details that i didn’t even notice
That looks great! I don’t play Genshin, but I’m familiar enough with a lot of the characters to recognize how in-depth the costumes are, so Im always impressed when I see a Genshin costume made from scratch.
Your enthusiasm is so adorable
Ok, confession. I didn't "watch" most of this. I just listened while I worked ...Svetlana's accent and diction are so cute! I could listen to her all day. Finished product is very good though!!!!

I love your work!!! that website is so so helpful for the tighnari cosplay I'm making!! thank you so much for the resource!
You did my favorite character so good!!!
Hey you made some beautiful gloves, I’ve never been able to make functioning gloves. You are good at sewing even if you aren’t confident
Ich wusste nicht vom Fashion Archive, danke für den super Tipp!!
Gute Arbeit! Sieht wie immer super aus!
absolutely stunning!! and the craftsmanship... chef kiss 😘 🤌
Your cosplays are awesome! I've never been to a cosplay event, but with my 3D printer, I plan on joining the Iron Man peoples in the future
I know you’re still not comfortable with sewing, but you really do a great job with it. It has become one of your strong suits. This was another fantastic job by you and Benni. It was nice to see you collaborate with friends, too. Really excellent job.
Benny is a lucky guy with Svetlana; she is never boring!
Sooo genial. Was für eine Arbeit. Ich hätte schon tausend Mal das Handtuch geworfen 😆 Du kannst zu Recht stolz sein 🥰
i love that tape+plastic wrap technique!
Beautiful. At least you have friends who can help.
Excellent stuff! Great detail.
I can't imagine how expensive that red silk must have been. It looks immaculate and not cheap at all, unlike the synthetic fabric you usually find in the store-bought cosplays. I consider myself a pretty decent sewer but you've got me shocked at your skill here!!
Wow so amazing work, that cosplay make justice to the Queen of the Seas: Beidou!
You look Marvelous! Only your Talent as a Fabricator makes you even more Beautiful! 😎

Well Svetlana, this costume is just stunning. And you look wonderful in it.
Can’t wait for next weeks episode: building the Alcor from scratch
That's such a good Cosplay ! it looks amazing. I see that the cuts on the back always gives people problems , must be really hard to adjust it . A great job.
All the Genshin Character’s outfits are so complicated.. they’re so cool but they’re a nightmare for artists and cosplayers alike…
You can no longer claim that sewing is not your forte after this costume 😂seriously though, super impressive work! I know the entire process couldn't be captured in a 23 minute video but I can imagine the countless iterations and fine tuning required to make that costume fit you so well.
