As a cosplayer who has made 9 different genshin costumes i can attest to the rolling on the floor crying alot. And the 500hrs of work. Great work on this

But i have done : kaeya, rosaria, sucrose, ayaka, sayu, xingling, a male version of yanfei, and noelle kfc version and original version parts. as well as helped with baizhu for a friend. I am pretty sure i cried alot. And whats really crazy is i hand did all the 3d parts from foam as i dont have my 3d printer set up.
Sorry, but I want to ask a question about crafting... You know, I want to make a TF2 Medic's cosplay. And I have everything except backpack. How to make his backpack? I mean standart one, not a Quick-Fix or the Vaccinator ones. Thank you!
I don't understand people who say 3D printing in cheating. If you could have a tool that would make your life easier wouldn't you? And I've seen how 3D printers work, it's not as easy as a regular printer. You really have to think about the material, time, weight, etc. before printing because if you do it wrong it could collapse. And the fact that you guys make your own patterns is really impressive. Good job on this cosplay! Your hard work paid off, it look incredible.

5:30 I can't speak for everyone, but I'd definitely watch that lol I think a good idea for big cosplay projects like this one is to divide the video into parts. That way we get a more detailed look at the process, without scaring away viewers with a single super long video. That's what Sarah Spaceman did for her Strawberry Miku cosplay build -- the total runtime is 2 hours long but it's divided into four 30-minute videos. And honestly with how much work you put into this cosplay you deserve the increased watch time and ad revenue from a multi-video series :)
This is probably the coolest and most insightful video I’ve seen this year. Your passion/dedication/talent is admirable and I hope and pray that one day I’ll be able to create an artwork as wonderful as what you’ve accomplished here. All I can say is “well done”, this is stunning.

The struggles, oh wow the struggles. I hope you know you did a seriously beautiful job! Benny also did an amazing job with the 3D prints! Would love to see more of his work, maybe in separate videos too. Much love, and hope adjusting to the new country is going smoothly! ❤️

@@KamuiCosplayHehe i know. I was just replying to a comment you had about how you had to cut back from all the content you had recorded for this project. If you released a 1-hour video I think everyone would sit down and watch it from beginning to end too!
Ah, I see now! Well, according to our RUclips analytics shorter videos perform much better and the average view time is actually only 30% of the full length of the video. So, putting more work into longer videos would probably result in even less watching time! 😬
You guys always make such amazing things. Thank you so much for what you do and share. And, as an aside, I really enjoyed your little dance with the back flappy thing. Made me chuckle.

I understand why you dread sewing. I'm the same. I'm decent enough at it once I get going, but always dread it. You are doing an amazing job though. The seams look even and straight and your sewing skill is far beyond mine, but I do have one tip I can share. When I got married, I sewed me and my husbands clothes and I had help from a seamstress who taught me a lot of neat tricks. One, to avoid a lot of pins, is to hand sew the pieces together with a simple stitch. No back stitching at all, just a straight stitch to hold it together and once it's been sewn on the machine, you can pull out the thread. It keeps the fabric more stabile and you don't risk ruining the fabric with pins.
Thanks so much! I‘m okay with sewing, but it’s indeed mentally very exhausting! 😬 And thanks a lot for the tip, but I‘ll keep on working with pins since I literally don’t have time for this extra step, ha ha!
@@KamuiCosplay It does take more time, yes. I won't deny that. Although if you work with slippy fabric like silk, this trick is a must. Pins just won't do it.
