I live in a shoebox studio apartment in the middle of a large city and I feel the pain of making sure every part of my cosplay is nontoxic. Glad that there's a creator doing tutorials for people like us. The fabric sleeve is so smart, because I've been suffering through 100 layers of wood glue and acrylic paint up to this point for my foam props. I'm still trying to find a way to make wings without melting/drilling PVC 😭
I live in a shoebox too. I cover everything in plastic sheets and open all windows. And I will do my shit in the house cause if I don't, I just stop cosplay.... Or go do stuff at my parents house who have a garden when I have time.
Also it's really great that she's actually making a thing of it. Like when I was in high school I don't recall anyone talking about that, and in so much videos you only see hand shots, so I used to use spray primer and contact cement without even a mask (thank God I didn't have the money for a dremel). There are definitely not enough security warnings out there
wings! my friends, i don't know what sort of wings you're making but i got myself a set of double my height in wingspan fully articulated dragon wings that are under 10 pounds with not a toxic material in the bunch wire, as low a gauge as you can find i think i had 6 backpack (sacrificial) yarn fleece wingbone fabric and wing membrane fabric of choice stuffing, for shaping purposes a lot of thread and perhaps a willingness to break a few needles if you're on machine because let me tell you wedging 4ft long wire bones around a sewing machine is not a fun time! i can give you more details on the process if you want, but very much a nontoxic process resulting in an only slightly janky outcome, and it's all disguised by the stretch i used for the membranes!
As someone with weak lungs a more nontoxic way to make cosplay is really amazing to see. Also your sewing skills/knowledge are amazing, I can't imagine the time it takes to make these costumes and these videos. My mom is generational seamstress and I didn't really get the chance to learn much from her, so your segments of video overexplaining the stitching's. For me it's "oh! that's what mom was talking about!" and I have more appreciation for sewing and the work it takes.
On non-toxic cosplays: this video got me thinking of a million different ways to make my props out of yarn since I make all of my cosplays out of yarn.
I live in a space with animals and it’s constantly disgusting outside weather wise, so I can never use toxic materials. I’ve avoided prop making for a while because all the tutorials used expensive and/or toxic materials. This was really helpful in showing me ways to make props without potentially harming myself or those around me!
THIS VIDEO is gonna save SOO many cosplayers who are in your same situation, thank you as always for being a beacon of hope for us inconvenienced cosplayers😭
Maybe because it’s the Christmas season but before you put the strawberry and the bow on it, it reminded me of the giant utensils the rats use in some variations of the Nutcracker. I realize this is a very niche comparison, I was just trying to think of something to say so I can comment and support the channel because I am obsessed with these videos.
It's eye-opening to see you using nontoxic materials as I too moved in an apartment and stopped for a while making props because I didn't knew which materials I could use. So thank you so much 😍 you're always super talented and a total inspiration
I love the "if you are working on something right now or got something done while this is playing" thing you do at the end of every video, bc I always use your videos to play in the background when I need to do things
when u pulled the handstitching part out i mumbled to myself "holy shit shes insane". this was so cool to watch cause ive never thought of other ways to cover large foam props. ur dedication is still insanely amazing though
OMG the fork looks so great!! I really appreciate you showing how to make props using nontoxic materials because I also live in an apartment with a mom who works in a chem lab and doesn't want harmful materials at home. oh btw you actually can reuse zip ties there are yt tutorials showing how to!
OMG YES! I use all non-toxic VERY cheap materials, (most stuff you could find at home) but thank you for showing that you don't have to spend a lot of money on toxic materials to make a good cosplay! I typically make all my stuff out of cardboard because I don't have a lot of access to foam, and all those spray-stuff that you need a respirator for! My first con is in January and I'm so excited! I hope to see more videos of you making cosplay, seeing as I watch them while I work on cosplays! Thanks so much for making this again!!!
I never imagined that I would learn/relearn so much from someone creating a giant fork. It is funny and great. I love cosplay for it's absurdity in the best ways. Thank you. I LOVE that you did this only using non-toxic tools. I have always wanted to get into bigger cosplay (I have only done sewing projects thus far) but can't do anything with fumes because of my health. It is possible and gives me hope to get into cosplay again!
This was so incredible to watch, I’m so impressed by your creativity and methods! I love seeing cosplayers use “alternative” techniques compared to what is common these days (3D printing, painting EVA foam etc). I’m sure this will inspire a whole new generation of cosplayers to start crafting again!☺️💗
Honestly avoiding toxic materials in general is so smart. The solution you came up with is really cool and makes me wanna try using fabric on some guns I wanna make in the future rather than suffering at the hands of the dremel. Glue fumes in general especially from hot glue are still not great but I'm glad I can use this video now as a justification for being too scared to use contact cement lol Watched this while working on my Glinda dress
I dont know why I thought this cosplay was done like a year ago and these videos are just of a project thats already done..... when ive been following the progress on tiktok LOL Im so excited to see all the amazing things going to HolMat. This Strawberry Miku is absolutely adorable and you did SUCH a fantastic job on it all. Thank you for sharing videos of it so we can watch you suffer. Hope to see videos from HolMat! Been working on a Kindred bow while binging videos
yesss this is incredible!! i'm obsessed with literally everything about this cosplay! i haven't cosplayed myself since before the pandemic but this is making me want to actually get started on the two mikus i'm planning (sakura miku bc i have a favourite color and i am sticking to it and the taito sleeping beauty figurine bc she's so damn cute) 😂 also really refreshing to see someone seriously address the safety issues with a lot of crafting methods, i haven't seen that a lot before 😊
I came from the Strawberry dress - Ended up binging a -LOT- of content, and now I am here at the most recent one. You are a delight to watch and I look forward to seeing more of you. Merry fourth advent!
I absolutely love that you made the prop using all nontoxic materials. This is a great source to really allow anyone to try something else. Everything looked great and good luck at Holmat.
watching this while i make regency era jewelry for a historical dance, love watching people craft while i´m making things. And the way you got to make that beautiful prop without ruining your lungs and braincells is just amazing.
I’m an Indigenous (Mohawk) beadwork artist, and HOLY. The beadwork on the strawberry is unreal! You glossed over it, but I know the amount of effort that must’ve taken 😍🍓
Just got done with your dragon con video and saw that this was posted. Your strawberry miku cosplay is amazing! The fork looks so good too. Good luck with the competition!
As someone living in a tiny studio in London, it's so amazing to see what you can do indoors in a relatively small space :D I'm a crochet bitch but this makes me want to branch out and try more DIY things one day!
im a beginner sewist and binged all of ur videos it has helped me SO MUCHH i learned so many new stitches and tips and tricks, im planning on entering a competition because of it! i love ur channel and ur miku looks absolutely adorable
I stumbled upon this video and it makes me feel a little sad I missed the earlier uploads but glad I got to this one on time-ish. The part where you sew the sides together? I thought I was the only crazy person to do that. I sew through things that aren't meant to be sewn through. Good, no, GREAT FRICKING JOB.
i love this video style with you- its so relaxing and flows nice and smoothly The fact you gusseted a the fork is iconic LOL Thank the lord you picked a 4 way stretch for this- amazing job I honestly hope this is displayed somewhere in your kitchen or dining room now- this would look awesome propped up on the wall
This is definitely a way that I would’ve never thought to do! I thought you’d be using something like gold rub and buff but this is much more user friendly! The end project is just so gorgeous!❤❤
i usually do crochet while watching your videos because theyre usually about half hour long and stuff and with that i find comforting, i started to watch your videos about yesterday or two days ago or something like that and i actually love this channel sm
you seriously are amazing at what you do, making me want to do cosplay which I never thought I'd be interested in AAnnnnnd teaching me so much about sewing. Dude those graphics are life changing and I love all the stuff you make. I keep on seeing snippits of your past cosplays like the Link and Rose Quartz and i"m like "ooohhhh I hope there's a video soon about em" whatever you post I'm gonna gobble it up.
Here because my nephew is a fan and showed us this episode first. My husband and I had an (old replayed) argument over the logic of gussets and generally had a great time. Keep up the great work!
I cosplayed for 10 years before moving abroad and this channel is so great for keeping up with new techniques and helping me not forget others, cause although I don't do it anymore, I learned so many great things and don't want to lose the knowledge I acquired. Your work is astounding!
I honestly never had any interest in sewing or even cosplay but I started watching your videos on a whim when the miku wig entered my rec feed and honestly it really sparked an interest in me! It's been super cool learning about this stuff from your videos and I really appreciate the work you put into not just the cosplay, but the videos themselves!
Spent most of this video wrestling my cat to give him medication for a UTI. I really like that you're making this cosplay non toxic and it makes me excited to finally make my first cosplay and make it stupidly complex (might go with a Rozen Maiden doll tbh)
I actually think the restrictions you had to make the fork and your solutions might score you some bonus points on the competition. Awesome job, it's amazing!
I love your videos! I am definitely one of those who went back and watched everything after RUclips recommended your wig video. They're all so so so good! I love your passion for what you're making. And the info-graphic things you make are SO great and do such a fantastic job of explaining what you're doing.
It turned out amazing! The inset pieces on the fingers of gloves are called fourchettes, which is incredibly appropriate for a fork! Gussets are typically square.
Box cutter fan here! If you get the snap utility knives, you can simply break off the dull edge and you’ll have a fresh sharp one. Also, sharpening it using some fine grit sandpaper helps keep the sharp edge of your box cutter for longer. I prefer the utility knives because you don’t actually have to replace the blades very often until you get to the end of the snap blade after running through a handful of dull edges. That being said, still a fan of x-acto for those fine cuts! Your fork looks fantastic!
I've slowly been chipping away at a Barbara cosplay on my own, watching this videos has given me the confidence to try and finish it! thank you for sharing your process with us, it's super inspiring 💕
@Sarah Spaceman, Thank you for your videos. I like sewing and cosplay, but I can't get a proper education on that, so your videos are beneficial and educational for a newbie like me. Without them, I would have been lost on what to do for specific details. The small trial and error you show make my life easier and fabric less stressful. Thank you very much, I am very grateful and appreciative of your videos!
This is so crazy!! I can't believe you did the fork covered in fabric!! I actually love the result so much, I'm in awe with how cute the gigantic fork is!
I've discovered you through your strawberry dress video and fell in love with your storytelling and your style. I love how you make everything from editing to cosplay to research and even values, crispy clean like a lovely seam. Here subscribing for the long run!! Thank you for your work!! 💐🏠
I really enjoyed this simply because my husband has asthma , and we live in an apartment. Gave me a good rundown on what i should do for my giant spoon Im going to make. Thank you again for being so cool and amazing!
I loved seeing your non-toxic approach to crafting! I myself have to do similar hacks because I don't have access to fancier/more expensive tools and materials. Personally, I find it a fun (and frustrating) challenge to only use things like hot glue and old pumpkin foam to make crafts. Though I know you don't really have a choice but to use non-toxic materials, I do also appreciate the message that comes with it!
Watching this video I completed a mini project that I'm super proud of! I knit two scarves out of this nice green yarn, but the first scarf had a very strange 'bloated' middle where I was adding stiches somehow without noticing xD. So I used that as a hood, sewed it together so it couldn't move, and then added the second scarf as an outer layer to make a mini almost balaclava look. I'm super happy about it and your ingenuity inspired me to try to make treasure out of my two so-so projects. Many thanks for the video it was so entertaining!
So when I made my Klee backpack last year I actually sewed the majority of it. I used 6mm EVA foam and did a similar technique to yours but instead of glue I sewed 4 way stretch faux leather to the sheets. It works so nicely and it looks amazing because I used a triple stitch 👌🏻 It's one of my favorite techniques!
Watching you add in the gussets on the fork brought me back to the nightmare that was trying to machine sew a pair of gloves. I've made a few gusseted gloves since, but I have refused any machine sewing for them. Hand sewing all the way for me. Also, I've only been here about a month. Your vids kept showing up in my recommended and I loved all of them so I've slowly been going through all your vids. I wish you the best and (if it hasn't already happened) that this channel finally gets monetized. You put so much effort into the things you work on as well as the videos themselves, I nearly cried at the end there.
I’ve just finished binge watching the majority of your videos while working on 3 shirts for Christmas gifts!! Watching your videos while I sew has been really motivating :)
Your videos inspired me to try my sewing machine again. I've been avoiding cosplay builds that require a lot of sewing and just doing what I need to by hand. Your work is amazing and your attitude is inspiring! Please keep up the overexplained sewing techniques 💗
found your channel a week or so ago through the strawberry dress video and been binging it since, the way you managed to work around the material restrictions for your fork was super innovative and it turned out stunning!!
Note for the gold. 16:11 if you don’t what to do the fabric you can use gold acrylic paint it’s none toxic and has no fumes. Just don’t bump it or get hair in it. It drys really fast if you are in crunch time
For people who are wondering about exacto vs box cutter. Both have their place! A huge pro of a box cutter is the loooooong cutting edge, and it will hold the edge a little longer, and can cut trough thick foam as well as thin. You can also use a honing iron to give it a little more lifetime really quickly, you can't do that with an exacto knife. The exacto knife blades are super cheap, and really great at cutting thinner pieces, and replace the blades as you go, but you can't really sharpen up the blades. Imo, if you do any ammount of foamwork, get both and use both, and just feel out which one works for what cut. Neither are expensive tools, but they are for different applications.
I admire the refreshing method you put on the table. The safety issues about chemicals its something that should be over addressed each time, specially with young cosplayers that might not know how toxic fumes are or how important safety equipment is (if you are a young cosplayer, you probably are on budget). You are so creative! I admire you a lot! Keep up the good work
youtube randomly recommended this to me yesterday and im slowly falling down a rabbit hole. I’m a beginner sewer and interested in doing my own cosplays, and you’re such an inspiration to me rn. Your miku cosplay is INSANE and you’re motivating me to want to get really good at sewing and making my own clothes ( and cosplays too of course) you’re videos are super detailed, are easy to understand, and fun to watch please keep making more and i love your videos🤗🤗🤗
i found your channel maybe a week ago and i really love watching your videos while I crochet ! i love these kinds of process videos and i really like hearing you over-explain things, esp because different people use different terms (i.e blind stitch, ladder stitch, invisible stitch) for the same thing, it makes it really easy to understand c:
I’ve made a key blade that was used for Kairi in my little apartment I was renting for school. It worked! But the clay was so crackley and it broke at con. Sad I couldn’t see this during that time , I probably would have used sewing skills instead! Thanks for making this tutorial and helping people who live in small spaces like apartments! This turned out fantastic
I’m currently on a break from Cosplay but I am so happy to see someone working with non toxic material! For my swimming mermaid top I made I really had to consider every material choice since I’d be swimming in the water with it
Ok just binged all your Miku videos and then found the livestream of the competition! OMG YOU WON!!!! IT WAS ALL WORTH IT! I feel so proud of you and I just found your channel today!!!!
I had your wig video pop up, and watching the whole series has been such a joy. I've basically been marathoning you while I customize a doll, and it's been the perfect thing to watch to keep me focused. Your videos are so detailed and fun, you've definitely gotten a new sub from me! Thank you for such inspiring cosplays and videos!
I absolutely love this channel so much!! ✨ I’m going to an anime convention for the first time in 10 years (previous time was middle school) - and I’ll also be cosplaying for the second time ever!! And because I’m a fool I insisted on making it all by hand, by myself I love how you found work arounds to make cosplay non-toxic and bingeing your channel has been a big motivator for me to not give up on cosplay! ✨
just wanna say i don’t know . Anything about sewing apart from the very basics (i learned how to use a machine this year lmao) but your videos are so entertaining!!! i really want to get into cosplay making someday and your videos have been so good for learning new things. i just found you today but i absolutely love how you present these . also this cosplay is gorgeous 🥺💖 doin miss miku proud
genuinely OBSESSED with your content. your sense of humor, the amount of detail you go into about the process,.. i know NOTHING about making cosplay stuff but you make everything so easy to understand!!?? your work is absolutely stunning and i'm so glad your videos popped up in my recommended :D
this is why i love your videos, the workarounds you make to accommodate your living conditions are so experimental and creative !! restrictions breed new ideas for different ways to explore and use materials. (your fabric brooches for example? inspired! what a cool technique!) i’m so glad i stumbled onto your channel just in time to catch the creation of your strawberry miku! it looks absolutely STUNNING and im excited to see what you get up to next 🤩
genuinly love that all your crafts are nontoxic and for indoor settings. I decided last year to stop using toxic things for cosplay. finding your page is nice to see im not the only one doing these methods
This is some INCREDIBLE construction work!!! I felt the pain and anxiety of every step of the way because it's quite experimental but the end result is so impressive. Thank you so much for documenting your build!
This is my new favorite youtube channel, I've been binging all your videos. I'm honestly surprised there aren't more people here especially with the high quality of all the videos.
i have to put my extreme appreciation here!! :D today discovered your chanel by accident, been watching you all day (yes i now wached all of them ^^ please make more content!!) while first in a really bad mood and now i am so inspired to work on crafty projects again. i love how you share all the parts and are such a lovely person overall. it is so amazing to see peoples progresses! being a graphic designer that mostly works by themselves it is so nice to see other peoples projetcs being made. am right now wearing a jacket i crochet last year and never got to finish, now feel like i have some motivation again. than you so much for putting yourself out there and being inspiring and overall amazing
when you asked if anyone watching was working on/finished something while watching this, i felt so called out, lol, i decided to start work on my first prop today (mainly because i found your videos and felt inspired (esp. by your Strawberry Miku cosplay!)) i finished cutting out my pattern during this video :>
This isn’t my first time watching this video, but I love your way of explaining things. Right now I’m working on a pair of stays for ren faire and I decided to also do most of it by hand. I don’t regret it, but my god! I have less then a week until faire and they’re not done so I’m using your videos to help me speed run through binding theses off
It's so nice to see alternatives to some of the common toxic materials used in cosplay, sometimes it feels likee they're the only option I love your giant fork!
Congrats on getting the algorithm to notice you. Your content is really beautiful and high quality, and your personality really shines. I bet now that these are being pushed to other people, your channel is really going to take off. Congrats and good luck.
This is amazing! I went as Strawberry Miku on Saturday of Animineapolis 2024, and I watched this video SO many times for fun, and also to add some structure to my fork! And I just wanted to say that you are so amazing, and work so hard! And have always been my Cosplay idol. You inspired me to cosplay in general, but also you inspired me to start to make my own props, which I was SUPER scared to do. Thank you for posting, and I hope you keep cosplaying! ❤
omg thank you so much!! I was really wanted to start making props and my first attempt was pretty bad and I went to prop panels at cons, but was intimidated by the materials and the toxic levels. this is such a good alternative!! thank you so much!
Thank you so much for posting such in-depth videos! I've been making and wearing cosplay for 7 years now and I've still learned so much! Your video format is so engaging! I'd love to see a video overexplaininf the pattern making process for a small project to follow along with. Either way, I'm a forever fan. Keep up the amazing work!
when your friend says you can try their food but only a bite so you pull out miku's comically large fork
LMAO that's hilarious
Now for desert...you can only use a spoonfull so you pull out a comicly large spoon.
vine references? in this comment section? more likely than you’d think
Can I have some cake?
Only a fork-full.
* pulls out miku’s fork *

I'm planning a Millie Parfait cosplay in her second outfit which also needs a giant fork. I cannot thank you enough for this tutorial!
OMG POG
Yess Millie...
Millie cosplays are always so amazing ❤

Thank you so much!
did I find this channel yesterday? yes. Have I watched nearly every video? Also yes
Thanks so much for watching them!!
Did I do the same thing also yes
have I spent hours of my life watching this whole miku cosplay video? Yes.
Am i also planning to watch the rest? also yes.
As a professional pattern maker I really love how you used fabric in prop making!
Thank you!

It's *SO SHINY* ✨ I'm so impressed by the fact that it's made using non-toxic glue and material too!

The fork turned out so cool!! + seconding the nontoxic crafting since I live in a dorm- sometimes hard to even sew for the lack of space lol
Thank you! and oof i feel you on that, i was an art student, I never had any room with all my projects haha
This was so incredible to watch, I’m so impressed by your creativity and methods! Btw, the cork on the back of that ruler is supposed to keep the ruler from sliding so you don’t cut yourself!
It was my drawing ruler in college, learned to flip it over to be more precise, old habits die hard haha, Ill keep that in mind tho!
@@SarahSpaceman I do model making so that’s where I learned it! Kinda funny how tools get taught all sorts of ways

Thanks so much!
i love this video style with you- its so relaxing and flows nice and smoothly
The fact you gusseted a the fork is iconic LOL
Thank the lord you picked a 4 way stretch for this- amazing job
I honestly hope this is displayed somewhere in your kitchen or dining room now- this would look awesome propped up on the wall
Dude your cosplays are always so good! The attention to detail on all of them is way more than I ever do when making a cosplay lmao
Got in watching the wig vid and went through the back catalogue. Really been enjoying your work! Doing grading today instead of crafting.
AHSJHDNDN omggg u liked my comment tysm
you seriously are amazing at what you do, making me want to do cosplay which I never thought I'd be interested in AAnnnnnd teaching me so much about sewing.
Found your channel recently and love your videos! Your "apartment safe" approach to cosplay is excellent, never seen anything like it!
I painted my nails while watching this video! All of your talk of getting clean lines helped keep my focus and not rush and make things even
I honestly never had any interest in sewing or even cosplay but I started watching your videos on a whim when the miku wig entered my rec feed and honestly it really sparked an interest in me!
I've been doing a ton of hand stitching lately. I also double thread, and I never thought of waxing them before! Life changing! Thanks for the hack
one of the BEST cosplays i've ever seen, especially knowing the prop was completely non toxic and made with hot glue!! your talent is incredible :)
@Sarah Spaceman,
Thank you for your videos.
Seeing your channel blowing up after all the Strawberry Miku videos makes me so happy. You really deserve it. ♥️♥️
That's really sweet Thank you so much!
YOU ARE SO IMPRESSIVE!!🎉🎉🎉🎉 I’m a nerd but I marvel at cosplay skills! I hope
To write a series that will inspire your art!!!!!
I’m blown away by how smooth and flawless the fork is considering all the manipulating you had to do to the lamé
Thank you so much!
Only recently found your channel and it's very obvious you put a lot of time and effort into each video. They are so much fun to watch. Thank you.
Love how u over explain everything!! And its really fun to watch u regardless of wanting to try new sewing/cosplay techniques
Your videos inspired me to try my sewing machine again. I've been avoiding cosplay builds that require a lot of sewing and just doing what I need to by hand. Your work is amazing and your attitude is inspiring! Please keep up the overexplained sewing techniques 💗
Aww yay! Im so glad, and thank you! Im sure when you try again what you make will be amazing!
found your channel a week or so ago through the strawberry dress video and been binging it since, the way you managed to work around the material restrictions for your fork was super innovative and it turned out stunning!!
Note for the gold. 16:11 if you don’t what to do the fabric you can use gold acrylic paint it’s none toxic and has no fumes. Just don’t bump it or get hair in it. It drys really fast if you are in crunch time
I was chanting Big Fork! Big Fork! when you finally got it to fit into that gold sock. The effort and detail you put into this is astounding 🙌🏾
Keep up the good work
Well Said! Totally agree, sometimes I feel like I could be being too preachy, but i know its important to point out for sure!
youtube randomly recommended this to me yesterday and im slowly falling down a rabbit hole.
I’m going to an anime convention for the first time in 10 years (previous time was middle school) - and I’ll also be cosplaying for the second time ever!! And because I’m a fool I insisted on making it all by hand, by myself
I love how you found work arounds to make cosplay non-toxic and bingeing your channel has been a big motivator for me to not give up on cosplay! ✨
just wanna say i don’t know .
I've probably already commented on this video, but I always come back to your Miku series to watch you when I make cosplays. So, thanks
genuinely OBSESSED with your content. your sense of humor, the amount of detail you go into about the process,.. i know NOTHING about making cosplay stuff but you make everything so easy to understand!!?? your work is absolutely stunning and i'm so glad your videos popped up in my recommended :D
this is why i love your videos, the workarounds you make to accommodate your living conditions are so experimental and creative !! restrictions breed new ideas for different ways to explore and use materials. (your fabric brooches for example? inspired! what a cool technique!) i’m so glad i stumbled onto your channel just in time to catch the creation of your strawberry miku! it looks absolutely STUNNING and im excited to see what you get up to next 🤩
Thank you so much!
genuinly love that all your crafts are nontoxic and for indoor settings. I decided last year to stop using toxic things for cosplay. finding your page is nice to see im not the only one doing these methods
Cleaned my makeup brushes to this!! I love rewatching these videos so much, thank you for getting me back into sewing :]
Welcome aboard! and thank you!
i have to put my extreme appreciation here!! :D today discovered your chanel by accident, been watching you all day (yes i now wached all of them ^^ please make more content!!) while first in a really bad mood and now i am so inspired to work on crafty projects again. i love how you share all the parts and are such a lovely person overall. it is so amazing to see peoples progresses! being a graphic designer that mostly works by themselves it is so nice to see other peoples projetcs being made. am right now wearing a jacket i crochet last year and never got to finish, now feel like i have some motivation again. than you so much for putting yourself out there and being inspiring and overall amazing
this is probably the best " non-toxic" cosplay i've ever seen holy shit Sarah you're amazing
when you asked if anyone watching was working on/finished something while watching this, i felt so called out, lol, i decided to start work on my first prop today (mainly because i found your videos and felt inspired (esp. by your Strawberry Miku cosplay!)) i finished cutting out my pattern during this video :>
Been hand sewing with unwaxed double thread and STRUGGLING forever. Thanks for the tip!
This isn’t my first time watching this video, but I love your way of explaining things. Right now I’m working on a pair of stays for ren faire and I decided to also do most of it by hand. I don’t regret it, but my god! I have less then a week until faire and they’re not done so I’m using your videos to help me speed run through binding theses off
It's so nice to see alternatives to some of the common toxic materials used in cosplay, sometimes it feels likee they're the only option
I love your giant fork!
Congrats on getting the algorithm to notice you. Your content is really beautiful and high quality, and your personality really shines. I bet now that these are being pushed to other people, your channel is really going to take off. Congrats and good luck.
Thanks so much! and we can only hope the youtube robot continues to notice haha
Thanks so much! I think for my next project im gonna do a planning video where I touch on how I do my patterns, so stay tuned!
Your videos are a whole discussion group among friends. I also enjoyed the motivation to finally finish my wig for Holmat
