Meeting children during cons is always so sweet - I was once stopped at the train station before I even got to the event because a mother was asking if she can take a photo of me with her daughter - the girl was so shy she was scared to ask but she liked my lolita co-ord so much she wanted a picture. I cannot describe how much joy interactions like this bring!

I'm glad your convention is growing, even if it means moving locations. Both my local cons are gone now, with 2019 being the absolute last one of the longest lasting. Those scissors are a prop in and of themselves. Wow!

I got my first machine for christmas and I am going to try my best to start making my own costumes! I’m already good at making props and shoes too, so I have some confidence even though my sewing experience is just taking in & out costumes. I never really make a book like that because I never had the time to do it before the mascarade. I only gave them some reference pictures and show the wip pictures from my phone and it's worked fine. But having a book like that will be so great!

Every time I watch Sarah it just reminds me that I need to get back into sewing. My great grandma taught me and I absolutely love being able to create things I can use.
Meeting children during cons is always so sweet - I was once stopped at the train station before I even got to the event because a mother was asking if she can take a photo of me with her daughter - the girl was so shy she was scared to ask but she liked my lolita co-ord so much she wanted a picture. I cannot describe how much joy interactions like this bring!
