    An idea: This is an extension of your active joints for articulated designs. What if you cut the standard V-shaped jounts but backwards. Would the V catch water and add to the action? Best of both methods? I'm a fly tier, not a lure builder, so please let me know if it works.

    🎏I'm old and I'm cheap. That said, after removing all of the old gas, fill the tank with water. I would start with numerous 2" vent holes. (Aluminum will not spark) Remove the water, then hook up a shop vac and blow air into tank until there is no gas smell. Now get a sawzall and cut the tank into pieces that can be easily removed. Be careful not to cut any wires or holes into the bottom of the boat. Now consider replacing the tank with a fiberglass tank that will not rust or corrode.

    Happy New year Mr. Franco. Do crankbaits work better with or without a split ring at the line tie eye? Perhaps you could share a little bit about your regular job. Thank you for all the great info you bring us in your videos.

    Frank, with your wood baits what type of primer do you put on them before air brushing? Also where do you get most of your airbrush paint and what brand do you buy? Thanks

    • @EngineeredAngler
      @EngineeredAngler  9 месяцев назад +1

      I usually give the wood a thin coat of clear epoxy as a sealer/primer. You can see most of the paint and stuff I use in my Amazon store.
