    The ricochet is insanely impressive, the bow control is just out of this world… and the vibrato up on the fingerboard above 5th position is so smooth and natural

    Really well done by both of them. This arrangement of Prokofiev's masterpiece is quite incredible - one forgets totally the original tessitura of the score with the extremely high violins... . Good flageolettes and intonation, attack as well as lyric abilities. Best wishes!

    This is the greatest violist. One of his greatest performance elements is that his voila does not sound like viola, but more like cello and violin.

      That makes no sense to me, and not sure why that is good, unless you are saying all other violists that sound like violists are bad
