Very lovely job! I have always enjoyed playing the complete suite in recitals and hearing these excerpts makes me want to return to them again.
Where did you find the sheetmusic to the whole suite? I can't find it. Can you tell me the name of the publisher? That would be great.
+MrJonisound There is one on Amazon. "Selected Pieces for Viola and Piano from the Ballet Romeo and Juliet" arranged by Borisovsky. Sikorski is the publisher.
+MrJonisound all 13 movements are not currently published (the Sikorski only has one of the two works for 2 violas and piano). I acquired mine from the PIVA archives but I am unaware if they are currently catalogued.
@@violistmf Would it be a problem if you could send me a scanned copy of the score? I can't find it anywhere and this is probably my favorite viola piece, I would like to play it a lot :(
Michael Fernandez why job?
He’s 100% perfect viola player !
내가 저 때는 비올라의 매력을 몰라서 막심 리자노프의 연주를 못 들었다니......ㅠㅠ
Please, do you know where can I found an edition which contains the death of Julieta? Thnx a lot in advance!
What is the very beginning part of the piece called and where can I buy the sheet music? Thanks!
Ausgewahlte Stucke aus dem Ballett "Romeo und Julia"(Selected pieces from the ballet "Romeo and Juliet") 3.Julia, das junge Madchen / Julia the young Girl, SIKORSK MUSIKVERLAGE, HAMBURG, Arranged for viola and piano by Vadim Borisovsky.
12:12 😍😭
Does anyone happen to know what strings he uses?
C and G are Spirocore
D is Prim
A is Larsen
Hope it helps!
I believe D is Helicore. Bashmet uses medium Prim on D and A though.
Hello, doese anyone has a score of this piece?

What's the title of the piece @ 11:45?... it's not in the Borisovsky transcription i purchased :S....
+Alvin Wan There are, in total, 13 Borisovsky Romeo and Juliet transcriptions. The one you are referring to at @ 11:45 is called the "Death of Juliet". It along with all others missing in the Sikorsky edition (this includes the two viola duets with piano accompaniment) can be purchased at Le Chant Du Monde.
A little shocking how this extremely pyrotechnic work for viola continues to be somewhat obscure. Cant find anything quite as perfect as this one as others are too slow or too clean and passive. Only karni seems to equal rysanov's performance
Power's recording is also fire
Is this a violin or viola? . . .
+Kenneth Stanley This is viola.
+Kenneth Stanley it's a viola :)
sorry but all my focus was on the girl.
