- On 9/8/24 at around 4pm ANF firefighters narrowly escaped massive 100 foot flames during a rapid column collapse. Thankfully, they were able to retreat uninjured. The aggressive firefight continued from the air and ground however, the fire unfortunately jumped Glendora Ridge Road. Today the Firefight continues. #Wildfire #brush #hotshot #ca #california
Thank u so much for your service! Stay safe!
Those flames look hopeless to fight. Dear Lord keep everyone safe.
The scale becomes so apparent at the end of this piece. The jet flies over the camera, disappears into a spec near the smoke, and a little poof of water gets dropped. Watching those pilots fly in those conditions and lay down water or retardant is epic.
OMG...Dangerously close...please...please be safe out there firefighters on the ground, in the air, command posts, in our hearts and prayers....
That spray of water on that huge fire? I know you're working soooo hard out there, but please, be careful. We love you. Your families love you....
Thank you to whoever was filming that ❤❤❤!!!@🎉🎉🎉🎉

Pastor Ivan said, " the WRATH of God are MISSILES coming to us"
Nothing is a surprise to God.
I say my mouth is a MISSILE. I don't miss any AISLE. I just SMILE and say I don't want to cry.
I recite the Book of Psalms n God said He will take the earth down by fire. So this is it. What's your take? I'm taken - my mouth is taking them out. Well done Vanessa.
Quite the impressive helicopter ❤❤❤
To all firefighters stay safe and may God be with you!🙏
Leo!!!! Nice work!!!
I remember the old fire where in such a small firestorm, the 3 firemen who tragically died
The incredible bravery of these guys
May God bless and protect these firemen. Lord hear our prayers🙏
Keep up the solid work there guys. Thank you too
God speed! Much appreciated!!
Heros...Risking their lives, as the NY Fire did on Sept 11...
Fire Footers
Just once I'd like to see a video where the camera follows the dropped water or retardant to the ground so you can see the effect. Every camera operator follows the aircraft after the drop, which is understandable, I'm just more interested in the effect of the drop.
At 2:29 you can see the pink dust really well
Most the flying firefighters have to be exceptionally good pilots ex Vietnam flying vets , they have the right stuff to be able to fly so low and in a lot of wind , smoke its like a staffing run in combat some of the aircraft look like refitted passenger planes , i seen a video of a plane coming in to drop his water and the wings broke loos from the stress these craft take on these staffing runs, i appreciate all of these guys $ girls fighting these fires to save life and property otherwise they could just let it burn if it wasn't for the fact of life and someone house i seen another video of 7, 8 guys died in one section together a fighting from past all the stories i found on RUclips , im just trying too say , im really know boddy but i think you all are very brave and thank you you all do really good work , i allready thought about being a para firefighter i seen wear thats something they do jump in around a fire and fight it by hand , im allready parachute qualified .
ANyone that flew combat missions in Nam are in their mid70's. More likely GTOW guys.
BLESS EVERY FIREFIGHTER IN THIS SITUATION! Send your ANGELS TO CONTAIN THE FIRE LORD!! Give wisdom to the men working to contain this fire. Please. There is nothing imposible for you!! In YESHUA’s name I pray!!
Not quite in La Verne yet. I have relatives in hills just above La Verne and they I know it has not reached them.

Hispanic people in California can go to South America, where they can do European-South American architecture tourism from the past. Have no pets policy. Try to take cotton-polyster quilt print fabric rolls with you, 220 volt sewing machine to sew 3/4 inch elastic skirts, and 3/4 inch gross grain ribbon to sew ribbon wrap gathered skirts.
Jesus, I'm crying out to you, stop the fire, stop the heat and let it rain. Help the firemen In Jesus Name Amen
I see a Captain on the line, no gloves, no eye protection, both his FF and him shrouds to protect face and neck no deployed. I guess it is different now from when I was a FF and a Captain.
Oh no ☹️☹️☹️☹️ I’m near the Trabuco Canyon fire all this smoke isn’t good for us. Stay safe guys!!!!
Stay safe firefighters
You'd think by now these guys would know that the fire goes up hill ten times or more the speed compared to level terrain.
Careful, I think theres a fire over there...

What are ANF firefighters? What do the ANF initials stand for?
ANF is Angeles National Forest.
@@onthewater4189 thanks
OMGGGG AT LEAST I DONT LIVE THERE 😢😢!!!!
A dozen people and 1 line…
💯🙏🙌🇺🇸
✝️🛐🙏
🏅🙏 so hard for them, were they wearing face masks with oxygen?
Wildland firefighters do not wear oxygen tanks. Way too cumbersome in the field and no way to resupply.
Structural firefighters don't wear oxygen tanks either - it's compressed air.
Source: was firefighter - both structural and wildland, still involved in fire and emergency management.

I sure do see a lot of guys without their web gear/shelters on. Believe me you will not have time from the first sign of trouble before you’re getting impacted by fire as you can see. Been there, done that…
Complacency kills…
