Team India's archer Sheetal Devi made her mark on the world at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris with a perfect bullseye.
17-year-old Sheetal Devi is one of the four armless archers competing in the Paralympics and the only woman among them. Additionally, Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar won a bronze medal in the mixed team compound archery event.
In javelin throw, Sumit topped the chart with a best attempt of 70.59 meters, and Nitesh Kumar defeated Great Britain's Daniel Bethell in the badminton final. Avani Lekhara became the first Indian woman to win two gold medals in 10-meter air rifle shooting.
