for me when im in the trading menu it doesnt let me equip just take for some reason im on vanilla no mods too btw
EDIT: fixed it by using skyui it gave me the prompt to equip it directly from her inventory

Are you equipping it from their inventory? I press R2 I think, whatever quick equips if that helps ♥️
