My enchanting says -568.... What does this mean?

Question. Sure that will raise the level, but don't you need the perks to make it work? So what's the point of having 100 level if you can't access the perks?

The potion I use to level alchemy (without the restoration glitch) is Creep Cluster, Mora Tapinella, and Scaly Pholiota. If you build one of the Hearthfire houses, you can put a garden and greenhouse on it for tons of free ingredients, and just make tons of potions.

The quickest way to boost enchanting is: Do not visit Soltheim until you do this or it won’t work. Visit Myrwatch grab the unenchanted destruction and illusion staffs, duplicate them and grab the heart stones. Go to bloodchill manor, sleep for rested bonus then enchant the staffs. Enchanting rockets upward but only if you have not yet visited Soltheim.

In Speech, instead of doing this whole process, you can exploit the restoration potion and sell any potion with enormous value, raising it to level 100 instantly

Only 3 minutes in and I can already tell this video is going to help my style of play. I started playing skyrim about 3 weeks ago. Instead of nickel and diming along the way, I've been stockpiling everything. Ore, ingots, items to disenchant, items to enchant for me and my follower, gems(lvl 81 p/p). Im just finishing constructing my house and thieves guild quests. Im definitely going to use this enchanting process (I also have 3 enchanting potions I'll use during the process once leveling slows down). Anyway, I just hit pause to say thank you, well put together so far, looking forward to the rest. Anything not too gimmicky or glitch I look forward to incorporating

Thank you all so much for watching, this video took a long time to make so i really hope it helped :) I would like to apologise for the audio in this video, i had a cold at the time of recording, that coupled with the stutter probably doesn't help haha. The audio quality in bits like the restoration section is fairly worse, this is due to that particular video being recorded like 5+ years ago when my mic was a lot worse. I spent a few hours re recording several sections that were old and had bad audio like conjuration and sneak but didn't have enough time to re make every guide for this video but overall im still really proud of the final result. Also in regards to the one handed section, your weapons base damage is the only factor for the exp you gain, so upgrading your sword doesn't actually speed up exp gain its simply just the quality of the sword that matters, so late game weapons like daedric get more exp than steel for example. Thanks again for watching and all the huge support on the skilling series, love you guys ♥

You do realise that the amount of level xp you get scales with the damage that you deal and so increasing the difficultly means you deal less damage …

I would also recommend doing the Crown of Ages quest first. This gives Aetherial Crown that can fit Lover's sign with global +15% EXP, and a fast Dwarven Bow. It is possible to get Bound Bow for free in fort Amok.

I would add that with Unofficial Skyrim Patch 1.1, Archery becomes Warrior skill - so a mod is needed to turn it back.

I see you adressed the whole base damage thing in a comment so I won't go in on that. One trick I like for levelling skills is the Aetherial Crown. Put the Lover stone on the crown for 15% extra levelling across all skills. Take the warrior stone for yourself which stacks with the Lover stone. So that's 35% faster skill increase so far. Normally you can't get well rested with the Lover Stone BUT if you get well rested in a bed and put the crown on after, the Lover stone now stacks with your well rested bonus. In total 20% from Warrior Stone, 15% from Lover Stone and 10% well rested. 45% skill increase speed!

It's come to my attention after the video that only the base damage of the weapon affects how much exp you gain so smithing upgrades at the grindstone do not improve exp gain for some reason. But a high smithing level will still help since you can make much stronger swords base damage wise like dragon or stahlrim. Could have sworn it used to effect exp haha. But the swing speed shout and the smithing level for generally better base damage are still vital to this going faster. Sorry for any confusion hopefully you still found the other aspects helpful for getting level 100. Love you guys ♥️

The experience gain is based on the weapons' BASE damage before smithing or enchanting boosts.
