Great reviews, I've been watching older content on your channel for a while and I was searching for an F800gt when this was posted so I wanted to say thanks for the honest review.
Also, I'm in for $1500. I know that's low compared to the market, but I have a large shipping cost to account for as well. Thanks again for the videos!

I just looking for a gt with low weight and found this model, but a lot of people speak about two contras: one the vibrations which you mentioned. Other one is the way of how the power is delivered, they say it makes the moto not enjoyable.
Also I'm looking for the suzuki gsx-s 1000 gt. Just only 10 kg heavier

I don't have experience with the new suzuki but have never been disappointed before its going to be a more spirited ride though considering it's a liter.

Interesting review. I have owned one for nearly ten years. In all that time I never thought about the aesthetics of which side the drive belt was on, just that the belt was on!
The worst ting about it is the heat off the engine on hot days (but it is handy on the cold days for keeping warm) and the buzz from the handle bars. I guess they can't be that bad as I am still riding the bike.
I replaced the standard screen as it was too short. 200 miles out of a full tank, the best was 85mpg, usually 65 to 70 mpg.

Glad to hear you're still enjoying the ride. I agree about the heat and vibration. I've gone back to my vfr1200f. Be well and thanks for watching.

As a 6 months owner I appreciate your review, but would like to stress the heat problem, on both sides expecially in a warm environment, it's a serious issue even after 10-15 minutes from engine's start. I have the withe version, it looks great with stock fairing, and dash visibility is quite good. Another thing I've found is that DIY maitenance takes longer time compared to other bikes because of the multple layers of fairings to unmounto in order to arrive to air filter. I'll keep it and try to solve the heat problem with a homemade air duct. Thanks

Thanks for that. Did I me turn the heat in my review because I definitely Italy filmed it and wanted to stress it?

Two very, very different bikes. Aside from the blue and white logo, not much is similar.

I've been shopping for this bike on FB Marketplace. Only to find this video while researching. Turns out, I've been looking to buy your bike haha.
I'll make an offer of 3800. I'll come pick it up.

Thanks for watching. Appreciate the offer but there's a viewer planning to come down from Sacramento this week to pick it up. His offer was higher and I promised I'd hold it for him until the weekend given the distance.

Who cares about side of belt? Missing the most important thing, handling. 213 kg wet ! With torque almost 90NM at 5800 rpm no one can offer even today on the market. Vibrations ... but effect ? Fuel economy is 50% of vfr 800 on high revs. Vfr is heavier, less torque, high fuel consumption and chain... I thing f800gt after 2017 is best sport touring allrounder for touring, because no one can offer so low weight, high torque and belt free maitenance. Rotax made fantastic job. For mountain roads perfect.

It is nible but my vfr was a more sport ride. I do find the belt unattractive to look at. And the vibrations are a deal breaker for me. And apparently tlymany others judging from thecomment section.

Dam. I am just selling out on my long time F800S due to the vibration and into an F800GT because when I rode it the vibration is way less. Your'e saying the FGT has a bad vibration and its a deal breaker? FFS. Back to experimenting with bar end weights then.

BMW ownership is price period. It's not a very common bike so I'd assume yes they are.
