blender = 3d modelling , realistic / real-time rendering , svg editor / maker , 3d / 2d painting & animation , physics simulation , and can make f*ing games. This video is cool.
@@HexOverride Oh yeah just learned about it recently. It's called UPBGE and ever since development was dropped it has been getting unofficial updates from the community! There's also Armory 3D which is a fork from the original BGE that's still getting updates. Good stuff all around!
I did not believe that 2023 would start off, with a buncha people making games with the wrong tools given. But somehow making them playable and fun af Just imagine a world, where people play these hybrid blender games on flagship game consoles 0_0
I saw an addon on twitter at one point that makes it so you can drive a fully functional car in the blender viewport, i just dont remember the name of it tho😅
But you cannot do user input. They took the game engine out of blender years ago. You can still use a custom game engine that is basically blender with a game engine added. It is called UPBGE.
This is crazy stuff. Blender used to have a game engine integrated but this has nothing to do with it. What GPU do you have for Cycles to almost work in realtime? 😯
personally I prefer unity for stuff like this, but this could be useful (I think?) for like animation that you don't want to bother or can't export to unity after creating assets in blender? seems fun but 80% useless cause unity is a thing. Edit: actually no I am stupid I think there are uses for it if you want stuff to react to one another as they would (like I guess a stearing wheel inside of a car could rotated based on how the wheels are positioned?) I am a begginer so most stuff flew over my head...
What? I use Blender since years and years, and Mine doesn't do that. When did he say how his blender is like that? Wasn't it the point? Long ago there was a game engine, how is his blender real time? I don't get it.
"Whatever I'm learning I have to have fun"
Me too man me too. And you made game dev in blender look super fun. Thanks for making this video

At some point they were going to make a full custom game engine for blender, But then gave up and said "just use Godot instead."
@@extra_ram_noodles they did make a game engine
@@extra_ram_noodles but they got rid of it

@@extra_ram_noodles rip bge
This video is perfectly timed. I was just wondering earlier if it would be possible to make a game that runs in Blender. Fun video!

1:41 This part of a vehicle is the "frame" or "undercarriage".
Borodante: I don't know the names of car parts in English.
Me: Huh! Jokes on you, I don't even know them in my mother tongue!
As I think about it, me neither
these toy-like cars are adorable 😺
Super hype for Boro Kart! 🏎🏎

I believe the addon you are referring to was made by Blenderesse, the Offroad Rig Generator
@@gloriouslumi No he's referring to 'RBC' relatively new I think
RBC it's called
Omg- thanks for the heart. Also my irl friend is having a mental breakdown with blender because his star wars mask is too thin to be 3D printed ;_;
I love you god of view and light

Do you have Any fx Audio & composed music? if not could all those be added to really create a game ?
You can publish the blender archive? Sorry for the english
You sir are a genius

Glad you find it as interesting as I do! The GPU is 3080 Ti (though it's thermo-throttled in this relatively thin laptop)
😳 1# game engine
Who neads unreal 5.3 if you could have blender 😂
Amazing!!!

HECK YEAH I WOULD USER BLENDER TO MAKE MY GAMESSS
Sure im a Ue4 dev myself, but. Using Blender to do different things its not designed towards? Y E S
The is the UPBGE, its a port of the old BGE into Blender 3.0 it works way better than this lol
Fast like from me for not caring about cars and football )))

Dude, you look like a character made by AI. Lol
Te vi la cara y crei que eras un modelo 3D

Oh yeah, this video was a mess. I was approaching it more as a dev log than a tutorial, and here we are lol
