This fight is Difficulty 2 of 6. Difficulty 3 is the same but I'm just stat-gated at the moment to finish it off. Difficulty 4-6 has additional mechanics not yet seen. The boss has countless attacks and feints and most of the time split-second decisions need to be made whether to dodge or parry the attack based on the combo sequence I'm currently on and distance from the boss. In any case I feel the timer should be increased from 5min to 10min for less pressure. I was forced to greed a lot in this mode. Anyway the boss looks easy here because I already have its moveset under my control. Getting hit once by it can prove fatal. P.S. Ye I slept.
Hey Rex, would you really want the time increased? I actually liked the high pressure from the timer, it made it feel more serious but maybe when we get into the harder difficulties it might be annoying

Please release a compilation of your failed attempts to highlight how hard this actually is. Your no hit runs are absolutely amazing to watch. But you made it look so easy. I'm an average skilled PGR player. I know how hard the boss fights in PGR are. Your (and other CCs) no hit runs are just perfection. And from those videos, i have a frame of reference of how skilled and persistent you are. Most of us who has never played Wuwa before, has no idea how hard this really is.
I feel like the best format would be to see Rex try hard but get curbstomped in the first part of the vid, before showing us the no hit run in the second half. So those who didn’t tune in to the stream have a better understanding how tight the timings are / what failing a dodge does to you.
Its difficulty 2 too... And fights get RIDICULOUSLY harder from difficulty 4 onwards. The flying mosquito received some insane buffs as well. People who think bosses are easy probably havent even passed difficulty 3 of this thing and are basing their entire opinion around OW version of these bosses which are made easy on purpose because youre supposed to farm them.

I've seen gameplays from different content creators and one thing i've noticed is that they always try to burst the bosses similar to how genshin plays where you throw all your skills and create elemental reactions, Wuthering waves is not suited for that kind of gameplay, instead it's more like sekiro where you try to stagger the boss in order to deal significant damage.
So, in Genshin it's more of getting things done your way. You have an ideal rotation and go for it to take things out efectively. In WuWa, you need to adapt to the enemies, instead of getting too greedy because here You won't get reactions for activaring a lot of skills, most likely You Will get punished. Probably the similarities between the two games is what leads people to believe they should be played the same way. It's like getting into Armored Core from playing Dark Souls, and thinking You can play the same since both are FromSoft games 🫤.
For anyone who says it looks easy, it took him A LOT of attempts to get him down. a chatter told me he was already past 15 attempts when i joined the stream.
Someone should send this to other content creators so they see how difficult higher level content is. Maybe they will grind like hell after seeing this so they can try it out too.

I saw a lot of comments about the time limit, here is the thing: The time limit here makes you play aggressive, not some "Trash Gear No Hit Run" but with 30 minutes of running around on the field. At the end of the day, just like PGR that the boss battle designed by Kuro is about the stylish fight and the hype.
I agree that they should increase the timer to be like PGR Babel. I seriously hate losing by stat check. But also, this is early game and CBT so things will definitely change for the better.

They mostly don't bother too do the actual hard content. Hard content are optional, if main content are insanely difficult like Souls game, it would lose alot of players since games to them are a form of entertainment and not a challenge.

Well when Rexlent was fighting difficulty 3, or was it 4? The stagger CD of the boss is more faster...so yeah basically I think on difficulty 7 the stagger/stun CD of the boss will only be 2-4 seconds
