wanted to let you know you can reset your oil life by using your trip reset button by your speed gauge. Just press the button until the oil life is displayed. Then hold the button for 10 seconds until it starts blinking. Release the button, then press and hold again for 5 seconds. This will reset your oil life without having to remove your radio in the future. Hope this helps.

the reset for the tps is below the eco switch, if you put air in your tires you should reset it anyways so the car knows what you want the pressure at and can warn you if it goes to high from heat or to low from cold or loss of air

I do have some issues as the sport mode function and traction control do not work. I have bypassed my active exhaust and still waiting to hear about the traction control. Traction control is always on.

However, I tried to purchase one for my 2013 Honda Accord and was told buy the company tech that the px6 12.1 is no longer recommend for my engine size. My question is, do you still have that radio in your car and is it still working without any major issue? Also, what size engine does your car has?
i've heard this unit has an updated model, the model year is unknown, but it seems like now in '23 there are better reviews that have worked out the odd "bugs" like screen blanking out, restarting completely, etc.. i purchased one last week not knowing they ship from China (company seems to be located in California) so i'm expecting it to show up in 1 to 29 weeks LOLOL the other option is the AuCar, but reviews on that one are generally the same.. old ones were crap, newer models are better, but not perfect. the options i have seen from retailers like Cru tch fie ld had tiny 7" screens and you have to buy vehicle wiring kits, which takes the price up over a $Grand$ in many instances. this one cost me $600 after the coupon code. a cool option for any android radio screen would be an internal lithium battery pack that lets you go MOBILE.. take it to class, to work, bluetooth to your speaker in the shower, and then pop it back on the radio. it'll prolly show up eventually.

It has one rca for the sub so you'll need a splitter. Sound quality is just as good as a standard double or single din head unit but rca voltage is trash. You need to get an eq or some kind of voltage booster of some sort
I have a 2017 Civic hatch sport touring and wanted to get this too, I saw it on their site. But when you mentioned the oil change and tire pressure reset not working I got a little concerned. Have you by chance found a way to reset them when needed? Currently on my factory touch screen, I have a TPM option to recalibrate for after I correct the tire pressure so I wasn't sure if that option would be on this unit as well. I think the oil change reset I can do with steering wheel controls using the display in front of the steering wheel where my speedometer is.

I ordered one of these from AliExpress a few months ago and returned it. The backup camera would not change view(pointed straight down at the ground) and the antenna plug/adapter sent didn't fit my '17 Accord. Have you had any like issues? Thinking about pulling the trigger again...maybe.

Thanks for this! Question - I think these units come with Android carplay with an option to add wireless apple carplay. Which do you use? Any issues with wireless carplay (if you use that)? I've heard some complaints about it being super slow and needing to use the phone's hotspot feature. Can't find good answers on this.
I've used both. They equally work the same. They are slow to connect and thats where the wired connection wins plus you can still charge your phone. Don't need Hotspot though. Unless you want to use the navigation like Google maps. Also if you're looking to buy I'll sell you mine. I don't have thud car anymore

You really don’t want to do a external equalizer to try to boost the voltage from the rca’s. You want to do a line out driver. That will boost the voltage

I pre ordered an android 10 one with 6gb ram 128 rom and this video has me so hyped. Did you notice a big difference in audio quality after upgrading to this unit? I have great speakers and a large subwoofer with amplifiers but the current head unit in my mustang is a SYNC 1 unit with quality from the 1990s lol. Also, what was the RCA output voltage for that unit?

@@Kpaceguy sounds about right if it’s slightly better than previous. I talked to the guys at Pheonix last year and I told them what they’d have to do for me to buy one, at least 4v preouts AND retain heated seats in our 14’ edge. Not quite there yet unfortunately. I may still buy one mainly for the screen and keep my helix mini dsp hooked up. An adjustable voltage pcm is going in first regardless though. Keep that sucker at 15 or 15.5 without factory regulation dropping it to 12.9 randomly. Thanks for the review man!

Update: this same system shown in the video I purchased and had installed with a installation professional. The system plugs that were all provided with the system did not fit in my 2013 Honda Accord touring V6. installation pro advised that the systems emergency lights do not connect to my car as there’s not enough slack in the wiring which causes this system to be hazardous for my vehicle, possibly for a 2012 🤷♂️ if anyone has some good feedback or instruction to why this doesn’t fit my vehicle please share I would appreciate very much.

Bruh that’s a tire light it’s on the left hand side you hood it fir 3 seconds and light goes off it’s right next to the button to turn traction off anon
Touch screen anything in a car is a bad idea. You have to look at it to operate it. Go to a junk yard and feel a ford radio from the mid to late 1990's. You can feel ever function on the radio with out looking. Some new Tesla is going to have the gear and park select on the touch screen. This is a recipe for disaster. Some water could get on the screen and make it touch activate random park / drive settings. Also (off topic) auto braking can be engaged by a low bridge in the dark causing you to be rear ended because control of the car is taken away from the driver. If anything, a touch screen should be for passenger reach only, AND NOT FOR VITAL CAR FUNCTIONS. Simple Car = less worry. Aka a car that only does what I tell it to do.
buttons on your steering wheel for the important things for feels. touch screen for when you are at the stop light, or our passanger. at any rate, the video is not about the merits of the tech, otherwise you are barking at the wrong tree, might as well push horse versus car benefits. The former takes you home when you are drunk, senile, and dazed, a car is a bad idea, you have to operate it...

Save urself a lot of money by NOT buying this piece of junk. I had a bad experience with Phoenix and this Tesla toy. It had a bad ground that almost damaged the electrical system of my truck. The sound quality sucks. I had to return it and they charged my shipping...don't buy this junk
Everybody shows this radio and Holly anybody talks about the sound quality of it that's the whole idea of a radio the sound quality and a lot of guy says it's really not that good so why would you want to spend the money for all the gadgets when you reason for the radio is for the quality of the sound

Currently on my factory touch screen, I have a TPM option to recalibrate for after I correct the tire pressure so I wasn't sure if that option would be on this unit as well. They do a few software updates if necessary. You really can't reset any lights with the radio it all has to be setup with the factory radio

Install it like a normal head unit. Install apps like any other smart device. Comes with everything you need it's plug and play

It's somewhere buried in the "more settings" menu I think

I pre ordered an android 10 one with 6gb ram 128 rom and this video has me so hyped. Did you notice a big difference in audio quality after upgrading to this unit? I have great speakers and a large subwoofer with amplifiers but the current head unit in my mustang is a SYNC 1 unit with quality from the 1990s lol. Also, what was the RCA output voltage for that unit?
Audio is better yes. 200% get some sort of voltage booster. Rca output is trash

@@Kpaceguy sounds about right if it’s slightly better than previous. I talked to the guys at Pheonix last year and I told them what they’d have to do for me to buy one, at least 4v preouts AND retain heated seats in our 14’ edge. Not quite there yet unfortunately. I may still buy one mainly for the screen and keep my helix mini dsp hooked up. An adjustable voltage pcm is going in first regardless though. Keep that sucker at 15 or 15.5 without factory regulation dropping it to 12.9 randomly. Thanks for the review man!

Update: this same system shown in the video I purchased and had installed with a installation professional. The system plugs that were all provided with the system did not fit in my 2013 Honda Accord touring V6. installation pro advised that the systems emergency lights do not connect to my car as there’s not enough slack in the wiring which causes this system to be hazardous for my vehicle, possibly for a 2012 🤷♂️ if anyone has some good feedback or instruction to why this doesn’t fit my vehicle please share I would appreciate very much.
You are correct there isn't enough slack unless you have a small hand that can fit between the dash an radio. Mine functioned fine

Touch screen anything in a car is a bad idea. You have to look at it to operate it. Go to a junk yard and feel a ford radio from the mid to late 1990's. You can feel ever function on the radio with out looking. Some new Tesla is going to have the gear and park select on the touch screen. This is a recipe for disaster. Some water could get on the screen and make it touch activate random park / drive settings. Also (off topic) auto braking can be engaged by a low bridge in the dark causing you to be rear ended because control of the car is taken away from the driver. If anything, a touch screen should be for passenger reach only, AND NOT FOR VITAL CAR FUNCTIONS. Simple Car = less worry. Aka a car that only does what I tell it to do.
