Hi, my headset has recently started crackling only on the right earpiece once i turn it on. I tried a reset and disconnecting BT but the crackling still occurs. Any idea what is wrong with it pls? Thanks.
love this headset, the problem is when it run out of charge and you have limited usb slot in your laptop to charge it using the usb chord. I wish we can use it both wirelessly and wired.

Same and I’m connected to my computer with the chip. It’s soo frustrating that whenever someone answers the call I can hear them and the mute switches on and I can’t turn it off even when pressing that little red button on the mic. What do I do
@@anthonyruiz7662 my problem was that I initially connected my headset via Bluetooth, and when I switched to the usb adapter it wasn’t fully working. I had to forget my device in the Bluetooth menu, and it got fixed, it has been working perfectly with zoom and teams. Hope this helps
My work laptop was recently upgraded and now the headset always sounds as if it's on a call (i.e. like it's always set with the open mic "on", however it's not and when I hit the mute button, it simply says "mute on" and not "open mic on/off" as it should). It's as if the phone is always connected to a call, but there isn't one going on. I've already checked the settings in the PC "Listen To This Device" is not checked and I've updated all of the settings in the system, but it still continues to act like it's on a call and I can hear all of the surrounding sound coming through my headset which is extremely annoying). Also, the plantronics hub has already been updated to the latest software. Any ideas?
Hi Sidney, that's strange. I would unpair the headset from your devices, download the Hub to update the headset, restart your phone or computer (whichever device connected to) then re-pair the headset. Give that a try to see if any difference.
I have had it for 2 weeks now and it has worked on just one occassion... I have the 4200 and it is a pain using it with windows 10. it says paired and then connected and yet sound coming from pc not through the headset
The issues we have had with this headphone is the volume constantly changes on the computer. It will go from 100 to 0 for no reason. My supervisors headphones stop charging after a few months. Also when I hit the mute button it goes crazy saying "mute on , mute off" repeatedly. Not happy with it.

@@HeadsetAdvisor Yes i did. Both sides broke. I fixed it with some rubber tape and it have lasted better then the battery that cant be changed in an pretty expencive product.

No, that's only for when connecting with the computer. You'd connect to your phone via Bluetooth.

Hi Treize, within Plantronics Hub do you see a setting for Sidetone or anything referring to ANCe? Maybe a setting got changed.

Are you connecting the 4200 to your compurer with Bluetooth or with the included USB Dongle?

To bad it breaks so easy where the metal and plastic meet and that the battery cant be changed. Great mic function.
