This was a completely different character and I loved him. Considering Bloodwork and Zoom(Before the Jay reveal)from the Flash These guys feel like dope characters that they should just rename and make staples of like call Bloodwork Salvation because it just fits better and is way cooler for the Depiction they did Hell I feel even Salvatore would’ve been cooler with a different name. Gives you more air to breathe

@@joshuaw4988 it had nothing to do with the light-hearted tone it had everything to do with the story specifically the savitar twist being a future version of Barry but it was technically a time remnant that doesn't exist plus the whole save Iris from being killed plot revolves around their relationship killer frost was totally underutilized in this season Julian was revealed to be doctor Alchemy and him forming The Colt to get people who lost there powers in Flashpoint meant nothing plus the way they explain how the Philosopher's Stone Works makes no sense oh and very important time travel makes no sense that's why it's hated
Really the season long big bad villain order should've been; Reverse Flash The Rogues Gorilla Grodd The Thinker (Mostly because I feel these are the biggest threats the Barry Allen version of Flash ever faced) then after doing those guys get creative; like a version of Zoom who particularly targets his comic nemesis Wally West or yeah even Bloodwork and Godspeed
Demonte Price yh I agree. I think giving Wally a better role would’ve kept the actor around and if done right he could’ve taken over after Crisis. Thawne should be fleshed out way more as well but the show shits all over it’s source material in favour for Easter eggs and gags. So S3 was really just too crowded with major characters and secondary arcs. Making Savitar a future version of Barry was a decent move, I will acknowledge. Season 4 is still worse than S3, and many people hold that belief, even many of those who despise Season 3. The Flash's best seasons (that were consistently good throughout) were 1 & 2. Reverse Flash was and still is the best villain of the Flash. I personally think that, at least up to Episode 5, Season 6 has had the best storytelling since Season 2. I agree with your observations that Seasons 4 & 5 were really lacking. I will say though, that throwing Reverse Flash into the mix in the latter two-thirds of Season 5 was a good choice. That means his involvement in CoIE is on the table (it seems Tom Cavanaugh enjoys playing RF himself, so I don't see why the writers would leave him out).
