2 ways to get the helix fossil, 1- during the story in mount moon(not missable), you get to choose between the dome fossil and the helix fossil. 2 - After beating the story you can get it in cerulean cave - first floor. the glowing patches on the ground have a chance to drop both the helix fossil as well as the dome fossil. There is also a chance of getting Amber (Aerodactyl) as well as poke balls, ultra balls, master ball and golden berries. Pretty low chance to get the fossils, amber and master ball though. So just keep farming and good luck.
@@LuisInShadowz I don't play the game anymore, so i cant confirm if the cerulean cave farm still works or if it has been patched. Its random chance to get the fossils from what i remember, could take a few hours or a few days. Just depends on how lucky u are. Good luck :)
