dang it it looks like the one I ordered, just adding the FX4 package and the full reclining seats and the new tailgate, this gives me a good idea of how mine will looks, very anxious to receive mine
I traded in my 2011 F-150 FX4 and purchased a 2024 XLT Powerboost......... not really what I wanted but a nice looking truck.... I wanted a 5.0 with a 6.5 box and a crew cab and XLT Black Appearance Package Plus.........option packages won't allow you to buy those options together.......Dealers near me have no 5.0 trucks on the lot to choose from and I didn't want to order because of the wait time so what I got was 5.5 box and Powerboost with the XLT Black Appearance Package Plus......I don't like the Powerboost because when it goes from one mode of power to the other it "shifts .......... bumps" giving you an odd feeling in the cab, as if something is wrong with the drivetrain...... It is a very quite running truck.... just an odd feeling......... I'm getting around 19 miles to a gallon. My 2011 got 16-17 with a 5.0 As far as total ride is concerned my 2011, I believe, had a better ride..... it was quite and a smooth riding, never had a problem. The 2024 is a very nice truck but I think Ford should let you build the truck you want, with the options you want, not what they want you to buy........ Also.....why can't I turn off the fan .... no matter what you do, the fan has to be on to recycle air..... you can't turn it off....... and, on the ""PRODUCTIVITY SCREEN" you can't display just one screen, there is always a secondary screen open on the right hand side of monitor........ you can't have just one "window" open you always have a secondary window on the side......
Nice. Two questions. Those dampeners. I read that if you opt for the FX4 package you lose the dampeners, though you do gain in addition to the skid plates, slightly improved quality leafs and suspension. Do you think the improved leafs and suspension would make up for loss of the dampeners in terms of ride quality and comfort say on highways? And if I was to get the FX4 and lose the dampeners, but after market further upgrade the suspension with better coil overs and shocks and reservoirs and such, could I gain back what I lost by losing the dampeners, and maybe even increase the ride quality, any idea? Oh, and where did the "Deep Snow/Sand" mode go? Deep snow is different than slippery.
Great question. Just my opinion, but if you want ride comfort, I would stick with these shocks. I think you would have a hard time finding a better ride than these factory shocks. If you’re after off-road performance, there’s a whole slew of options. Typically the CCD dampeners are good for ride quality
@@CTECH-REVIEW Just to clarify, are you distinguishing between dampeners and shocks? And do you think the improved leafs and suspension gained when you lose the dampeners by going the FX4 package, would they fully make up for the loss of the dampeners, or not? Thanks.
Fuel door release has been on all powerboost t4ucks. Build specs on internet says dual under bumper exhaust but its n9t on your truck. Also the bed utility doesn't include the split door. But build on internet shows bed utility including split tailgate. Thoughts? Nice review.
Good to know! I didn't know that. I will check out more on the bumper exhaust also! Very interesting comments I need to look into! Thank you for the kind words and for watching!

Ford really did a nice job. This Is what the 21-23’s should’ve been from day one. The only downside to this particular model is the payload. Other than that it’s a really nice rig. Blue interior accents are really nice.
4:45 are the “aluminum” trim pieces upgraded over the lariat? They were wood inserts for 2023 (top glove compartment, door inserts, wireless charging area cover, etc.), so I’m hoping it still feels Platinum-worthy. I have a 701A coming at some point…
Sucks they only have the 3.5 EB as a option as I was thinking about getting one till I saw that. Now my only option is a Tremor Ultimate or a Super Duty
Tremor Super duty is a great option. Feel free to check out my channel 30+ videos on the 2023+ Tremor super duty in my channel including towing and mpg loops.
Yes sorry I thought I covered some of that. I apologize for missing this. Undercoating looks good on this truck along with every other 24 I have seen.! Thanks for watching!
I ordered the 702a, figured it’s more to go wrong and the gas savings didn’t do it justice for the extra cost. Some believe it will negatively effect the resale in a few years. It’s also only really helpful for city driving, I drive mostly highway head to the cottage often.
Was gonna wait for a 2024 platinum in my country but knowing there wont be a 5.0 l im gonna get a 2023 with better incentives. Who care if there aren't any massage seats😂
This is not a truck. 1,326 lbs payload with that gigantic rake and show car rims is nothing but a crossover vehicle made to look like a pickup truck. This “truck” is a big L in my opinion.
@@CTECH-REVIEW love you reviews by the way! My comment was more of a frustration with Ford (and the other two big brands) trying to make trucks into passenger vehicles. I may have an old school opinion but I wish truck manufacturers would keep in mind the people who actually would like to use their truck for truck things without having to jump to a 3/4 ton vehicle to do those things.
That’s why it’s an f150 and 100k… it’s not meant to be abused. That’s why the 450’s exist. F150’s are literally the luxury city pick up trucks 😂 not work horses
@Urmadyoulostthearguement I had a granite countertop business, and f150s are certainly workhorses, haha . But Ford took an l by ditching the limited and the tailgate plaque
It’s got its purpose F-150s aren’t made to be tough work horses anymore but the super duties still are tough and made to work and last. And they cost pretty much the same price as a f-150

Great video! You went way more in depth re: the screens on both displays than I've seen anybody do.
Glad it was helpful!
I’d never buy anything less than a super duty for myself. But if I had a wife I’d definitely get one of these. This truck looks great.
Understandable
Ya my son has the 250 things a beast, you need a kidney belt cause it’s a rough ride for old bones ..
I like to look, I wouldn't buy one, and don't envy anyone who do. I'm happy with my 94 Ford Splash.
Thank you for watching!
King Ranch or Platinum ? I’m having hard time deciding love interior of KR but not chrome exterior
Personally, I’m a fan of the interior of the king ranch over the platinum, but I like the technology of the platinum more than the king ranch
PowerBoost is the only F-150 power train that makes sense to me.
Its a great engine!

Thats a beauty, being tied in price with a 35 package raptor I'd have to go raptor just to have the off road fun
My thoughts too!

Can you tell the difference in ride quality with the CCD vs one with regular dampers?
I haven’t nt driven a 24 with CCD, but have with Expeditions and its very noticeable!
