I have actually taken and passed the NSCA CSCS exam...there is NO faking this test...a layman doesn't stand much of a chance on this without a thorough and complete understanding of bioenergetics, biomechanics, exercise physiology, and kinesiology. Don't get the impression that this test is ANYTHING like a CPT certification. I passed the FIRST time I took it but not because of luck, I have a degree in Kinesiology, a 15-year career in coaching and strength training, more hours than I can count in CEU and professional development, and I spent about 6 months intensely studying and quizzing for this exam. I highly recommend Matt Casturo's prep course! It bears repeating, do not get the impression this is an exam that anyone can just sit for and pass! There is no faking the expertise demanded by this exam. This exam is unforgiving and deserves a healthy helping of respect. Best of luck to anyone prepping or taking this exam!
@@cammywill66 I passed. 90 on the exercise science part and then 74 on the practical application. I didn’t really study their practical application section either . I didn’t have time. I focused heavy on exercise science and nutrition and psychology (part 1) . So I think their study guide is well put together. A couple of grammatical errors but overall great.
@@marcusregino1275 I’m currently starting to study for the exam. it really only took you 1 or 2 weeks to study for the exam? If so how many hours a day?
@@cammywill66 I went to school for exercise science. So I found the concepts easy to grasp. I also interned at this great place that trains professional athletes. I studied like 3 hours per day. For like 3 weeks
