    I like that video shows how your hand speed slows when using a shader vs the liner. Great video Dave!

    Why use shaders for lining?

  • @CRMartin19
    @CRMartin19 2 года назад +1

    We’re you wanting a softer line look? Just curious on why you chose a RS over RL

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 года назад +2

      I prefer round shaders for lining whenever possible I just personally think they go onto the skin a bit better and less traumatic but again that is just my opinion.

    Bro, I just tried emalla needles and damn!!! They're simply amazing. I use cheyenne and kwadron cartridges for almost everything but to be completely honest I'm not a huge fan of cheyennes. It's a lot of name but that doesn't exactly means quality, super overrated. Emalla needles are quite similar to the kwadron ones and I love them.

      @@ArtSomething it looks so easy and inspiring. Love the whole light then dark then you come in with the white. You recommend a good brand of white? I use dynamic black but I need a white that I don't to need to pack

  • @UnderThaInflunce

    Curious,Why do you switch different mags for the lines?

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 года назад

      I use different mags because of the size of the mags sometimes I want a larger mag for doing a larger area and a smaller mag for smaller areas. Same thing for lining if I want a thicker line I will use a thicker liner or a bigger round shader and smaller lines the opposite smaller needles. I hope answer your question and thank you for the support my friend

    Sir you aren’t supposed to drag the tube

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 года назад +2

      Not sure who decided you’re not supposed to drag the tube but if I did I did I guess that’s just the way I like to Tattoo.

    • @Mr.mason_58
      @Mr.mason_58 2 года назад

      It works in most cases… I know is super hard to Kik off habits once you started using them, for example I use my finger next to the tip of the cartridge (essentially riding my finger) if you what you’re doing it works because you’ll always know the depth on an specific location of the body.. for example in my experience if you’re working on a shin, sternum or shoulder the depth of the needle that goes into the skin needs to be a lot less than that if you were in some but cheeks

    • @docholiday7973
      @docholiday7973 2 года назад +1

      You can ride the tube if you want. There’s no set in stone way to do things. Plenty of high quality Artists do that sometimes. Watch all his other videos. Dude knows what he’s doing

    • @Mr.mason_58
      @Mr.mason_58 2 года назад

      I love your content tho man I learned so much from your videos when I started m. I thank you for that 🙏🏼. In my opinion tho, if you’re new TL& dragging the tube you may be causing more blown out lines & irritating the area a little more dragging a tube on an already overworked area
