Hello, I can speak on this spec a lot as I have it about 90% bis rolled. Finished doing trials lvl 3 on 2/3 raids (zg left) . My current raid dps on ST is about 26k fully buffed and dummy no buffs is about 20-21k. Aoe is 30k+. Still haven't hit arcanist which is about 15% dmg overall increase so I am anvious. Ele booming lord is by theme very good, but the numbers are not there to compete with 40k specs like imps or Sunburst or such sss tier specs. It's fun to play for people that like shaman but it took quite a lot of investment to get there. I am crit cap at 70% crit and after that it's just boost fire dmg mods. Spec is mobile if you play it right and earth shock hits for 60k which is dope but it requires a lot of haste to do good dps. I can recommend getting Holy fire with divine fury where you can get 15%magic dmg and if you find talent kindle for the holy fire for big holy fire hits as Ele blast counts for fire spells. Spec requires a lot of cards to just start and I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone starting it unless they wanna finish the whole mile. I am currently too deep in that no other fresh spec outside of imp or Sunburst can compete for my 76ilvl gear.
@@Heytrix regarding shocks I use the 3 basic once and stone shard. Any other shock outside of that is not worth. Stone shard is great cus of short ICD and reseting and self CD. Good for aoe as chain lightning gives 20 booming stacks and you have 2 earth shock options. In ST I mostly use stone shard, fire shock, frost shock in that priority. But I am also testing the dps with holding earth shock until 20 booming stacks in ST specifically. Before I would just take whatever shock Ele Lord gives buff to. Can't say for concrete what is better way.
Ay there, I know this is a couple months old, but any new feedback on it? And if possible a link to see your build :3 Its so much faster to find all the skills and talents in 1 screen than to view them bit by bit in a video
@@quartz1 i will try to improve this in the future, with a whole overview in one place! Not much new, besides the talents i mentioned that i tried to get I dont really get spare marks on that alt to improve on the build sadly. And time as of right now
The quality of the content is astounding, wish there was more deep-dive guides like this out there. Not only great for the build in question but to broaden people's mindset regarding making decisions for other builds as a whole too. Awesome as always. Arcanist for eaiser rotation, and some more aoe for adds on bosses Booming thunder is "better" for bursting adds or high prio targets I think they come out to about the same dps, so would card after own taste with the 2 above statements in mind
was watching guild 404 doing raid trials 3 and saw they had someone doing Astral Storm/Arcane blast/Energy bolt/Frostbolt/Chain Lighting and doing 30k+ dmg only getting beat out buy imps. was curious if you knew or understood how this build would work... -Psyllium

@Heytrix something simple like these 8 are the core skills in this rotation. These are the 8 core talents for spell damage and crit. And this is where the cards drop for the skills you will absolutely need to make this work

That sounds new to me, the only hipster build that ive seen that come close is arcane missiles + sunburst
I feel like no matter what build I take, I can't get a good arcane missile build going. Any ideas? -Unluck
