- *if the removal of the axel blocks does not give the harness enough slack you can gently loosen the plastic nut the controller portion of the harness and VERY gently tug on the harness wire to gain an extra bit of slack. Be sure to re-tighten the plastic nut after this*

Thanks for Watching!
Great video. Just installed my GT WTF rails. Like that you call out the screw sizes when putting them back in...just to be sure...
you will need to resuse the stock rails for when you sell the GT for the GT-S :). Thanks for the demonstration, will be using this to switch the gt back to stock rails :D
Times are changin' it's a TP45 now" hahahah
🤣
Thanks for the tip Jeff!
T47 fits perfectly too for some reason ?
Great work here
Thanks Jon. I appreciate all you’ve taught me over the years! -Kyle
Great video, as always, Kyle! Love the new workspace. See the MWOW lamp. Represent! 🤙
Thanks Louie! We truly appreciate your support my friend! Can’t wait to ride again!
Very clear and descriptive 👍🏽
Awesome video!! Lightening rails are the truth
Thanks Mike! They really are nice.
Killed it, Kyle! Simple, to the point, and informative.
Thanks Zak! You killed it behind the camera!
Great video, I installed mine a couple of weeks ago but the battery cable was super tight, I think it ended up extending a little bit out of the glands with the pressure I was applying 😅🤞
You should be fine. If you look in the controller box the harness has some extra slack and typically what happens is you’ll pull out that excess a bit after a while.
You can actually loosen the collar on the controller box side and pull some of the slack through
I just changed my rails and this video was super helpful. Thanks a lot 🤙
Nice job Kyle 🤘🏽
Thanks Bob! I appreciate all the help you’ve given me over the years fixing these things!
@@carvecreative Always happy to help! Glad your making content it helps a lot of people!
Do these steps more or less apply for Pint X WTF rails as well? Also, a big fan of your tire change video, thank you!
Yeah it’s very similar. Let me know if you have any questions. And thank you!!
Thank you again for this video! Such a big help for the novice DIYer, the cable slack for the Pint X is a bit tight as well but doable following your advice 🤙
What torque setting do you use on the gyro screwdriver?
Same for mustache? And can the mag handle stay on with mustache rails too? Or just on lightning?
Works with both!
Clean 🔥
Thanks Nicholas!
Is it the same process with the mustache rails as well installing them?
Yes! Same process!
Ok thanks
🤙
😎
What torque setting are you using on the gyroscopic screwdriver for all the smaller screws?
Was thinking about getting some WTFs for my GT but I'm worried about the short motor cable on some of the boards I believe mine has that. Curious if it would work
after installing rails it seems as if my pads are always activated.
