Congrats on putting in the work so quickly and that you already got to see some results!! It won't be a super easy road ahead as it takes awhile to learn how to create a consistent income with this a build up the products in your store, but just keep up the good work and you'll get there

Hi Jason! I really appreciate your nice comment and your request. I am still looking into all of the AI and figuring out how best it will benefit sellers. As soon as I have all my research ready I will definitely create a video for you! The biggest thing I have tried it for so far though is using Chat GPT to come up with the top of the descriptions for me and it has been great! I ask it a prompt like "Create me a three sentence description for a book lover shirt that says "feeling bookish" and make it funny" I put that exact prompt into Chat GPT right now and here is what I got back: This shirt is perfect for those days when you're in the mood for a little literature and a lot of lounging. With the words "Feeling Bookish" printed on the front, you can let everyone know that you're not just a casual reader, you're a certified book nerd. And if anyone questions your commitment, just point to your shirt and say, "I'm not lazy, I'm just plot-driven!" You can always ask it to include extra keywords in it as well if you want to get a few ,more in there!
NoOoO c’mon guys can we keep a FEW tricks of the trade on the down-low?. What happens when we all have perfect etsy listings with the PERFECT everything? - even the ones who just happened to hear about the little big etsy boom of people saying they made “make so and so figures“ and “here's how“ and now we have an bunch of hooligan kids (and adults) as our biggest and sneakiest competitors (pricing ridiculously LOW on one item in the same listing, for example) just to get ranked higher, get more views, more sales, everything...just because they CAN... And becayse they watched a few step by step proccess youtube videos. Those who struggled and put in YEARS. YEARS! of HARD and REAL work simply had to use trial and error to be where they're at today and know what they know (myself included) because they've more than earned it. I swear - mentioning AI will just tear the real creators, techies, and the real OG’s out there up. WE DONT WANT PEOPLE TO USE AI - ITS A SECRET.

This is the first one I’ve seen (and I’ve been watching a lot of Etsy instructional videos) that talks about exactly what happens on Printify’s end once a sale is made on Etsy. Very helpful! I do have two questions: The two follow up emails to customers once an order is placed or received, do we send them out manually? Or is there a place we can set this up automatically? Another questions is about personalized orders. I saw one RUclipsr mentioning that for those, it’s better to delete the Printify sku numbers so you will have a chance to customize them before sending them for production. Do you have a video that explains more in depth about that process? Thanks so much!😊
Good questions. I have watched a lot of videos and Cassiy was the first one to make me realize that the personalized items will print with the mock up display's text if I put them in production the same way as non personalized orders. Omg my first few sales would have been terrible reviews and crushed my shop if I didn't realize this

Im just starting out with pod, It was tough wen i was on payment reserve bc i had to pay out of pockets for my orders..im finally off paynent reserve as of yesterday, and now its much easier with the money situation. I was paying 200-300 daily for my orders before payment reserve.
Hi Cassiy, Just found your channel and I love it! You have soooo many awesome videos and I was hoping you could direct me to videos that could answer these questions. Etsy Listings using Printify 1. How do I create one listing selling eg. a Sweater with one logo but you can choose between 2 different logo colors and multiple sweater colors? Do I need 2 separate listings? 2. If I am a Canadian store, what is the best way to set up a listing so the production company is based in the country of the purchaser, Canadian & USA? 3. For designing in Printify, how do I know where to place the design? One line, two lines, maybe just one big image etc? Especially for sweaters/t-shirts? Sometimes the mockup view doesn’t match what is on the model wearing it 4. Where do I find size charts for each design? So I can add this as an image card to each listing. Like.... sizes run small... or give estimated shipping times....any tips to help avoid any miscommunication with buyers in the description area that you've learned by trial and error?

I just opened my shop a little over a week ago but I keep getting notifications such as (1) my account is suspended and they want an email so they can send me a verification form. And yet nothing ever shows up in the "from Etsy" section. Everything works as normal and my shop is getting views. And (2) I have one notification that I made a sale, but they want my email, which right under that is the box that says no buyer will ever need our email. So my questions are: how do I know when Etsy legitimately wants to verify my account? And how do I know I have a REAL sale? I'm working really hard on my shop as if it were a business instead of a hobby because that's what it is. I am terrified of scammers. Thank you for everything you do! You are so very helpful!
Hi Cassiy, I started a pod Etsy shop 18 days ago. I only have 12 listing but I didn’t think I would make a sale anytime soon. With that being said, I made my first sale and started panicking on what to do next. This helped me out so much. I messaged them and thank them for the purchase. Printify is in production. My only concern is.. since you have to use your card on printify to send it to production. what happens if someone buys a lot and I can’t send it to productions because of the funds? What would happen.
Good question. I hope she responds as I would like to know as well. It is my biggest concern. In case she does not see your question, I have heard advice suggesting that you can extend your production/shipping times to further out, you can up the cost of the product to slow sales down, and as a last resort, you can put your shop on vacation mode until you have more funds on your credit card to work with.
@@Bekind95 ugh thats good advice.that was my go to result too. It kind of made me slow down coming up with stuff and listing because I don’t want to have to cross that bridge if something happened. I may get a credit card on file strictly for that.

That is a pretty common scam, here is a video I did all about scams so you know what to look out for! Since making this video, Etsy made an update that in the inbox there is now a "from etsy" section, so if you ever get any messages from Etsy and it's not in the "from etsy" section, then it's a scam for sure! Yes as long as your shop and printify are linked and you have your orders set up to go through automatically, then they will make it! You just need to check the settings like I show in this video!

Since for now I am using the credit card I have, it’s not a points credit card, but it’s really low interest rate. So maybe that’s the next step is to get a good points credit card. I got a couple of Etsy support messages saying that 2 people have purchased one of my items. However there are no orders in my orders area and the orders don’t look complete. So what do I do?
It sounds like that could potentially be messages from scammers! There have been lots of scammers recently on the platform targeting new sellers. So Etsy recently made a "from etsy" section in your messages. If the messages show up in your normal inbox on Etsy, then it's not actually from them and you want to mark it as spam! Hello Cassiy. I am so grateful for everything you have shared on your channel. Your expertise is invaluable to us aspiring Etsy sellers! I do have a question...I opened an Etsy store in 2021 with the intent of selling dog clothing, but I never actually got going and deactivated all of my items, but never closed my store. I am now looking at opening a POD store. Should I reopen the existing store or open a brand new one? I don't know if my inactivity will hurt my chances of selling, especially if it says my store opened in 2021, but I have zero sales.
I think you are totally fine to use your existing store and you’ll have the benefit of not going through the opening process and getting your shop suspended. Just make sure you go connect your bank account to plaid right away so that they can verify it!
I was my own first customer to make sure everything worked as expected. Of course, my order from Etsy didn't make it to Printify even after a week, so I had to manually do the order with Printify. Reconnected my Etsy account to Printify and made sure everything was setup properly and placed another order with a newly created item. Same issue. No automatic order syncing for me. Can't figure out why.
Hey there, same thing happened with me today. I just got my first order, were you able to resolve the issue, also did you get paid by Etsy. As per Etsy my sales covered the fees and funds to deposit still shows as zero 😢
@@jyo1343 Yes, I finally got it resolved. I had to remove the listings from Etsy and disconnect the store, mark the items in Printify as disabled, or whatever term they use, then re-add my Etsy account and republish, then it all started working again. I got paid for all sales, including those initial ones.

Congrats on your first sale! Nothing needed to do on the Etsy side if you have everything connected, then Printify will send the tracking info and mark it as shipped once it's ready!

I have watched a lot of videos and Cassiy was the first one to make me realize that the personalized items will print with the mock up display's text if I put them in production the same way as non personalized orders. Omg my first few sales would have been terrible reviews and crushed my shop if I didn't realize this

@@az7964 That is automatic as well, as long as your store is connected to Printify, then they will add the tracking information to Etsy and complete it as well!

Im just starting out with pod, It was tough wen i was on payment reserve bc i had to pay out of pockets for my orders..im finally off paynent reserve as of yesterday, and now its much easier with the money situation. I was paying 200-300 daily for my orders before payment reserve.

Etsy Listings using Printify
1. How do I create one listing selling eg. a Sweater with one logo but you can choose between 2 different logo colors and multiple sweater colors? Do I need 2 separate listings?
2. If I am a Canadian store, what is the best way to set up a listing so the production company is based in the country of the purchaser, Canadian & USA?
3. For designing in Printify, how do I know where to place the design? One line, two lines, maybe just one big image etc? Especially for sweaters/t-shirts? Sometimes the mockup view doesn’t match what is on the model wearing it
4. Where do I find size charts for each design? So I can add this as an image card to each listing.

I just opened my shop a little over a week ago but I keep getting notifications such as (1) my account is suspended and they want an email so they can send me a verification form. And yet nothing ever shows up in the "from Etsy" section. Everything works as normal and my shop is getting views. And (2) I have one notification that I made a sale, but they want my email, which right under that is the box that says no buyer will ever need our email. So my questions are: how do I know when Etsy legitimately wants to verify my account? And how do I know I have a REAL sale? I'm working really hard on my shop as if it were a business instead of a hobby because that's what it is. I am terrified of scammers. Thank you for everything you do! You are so very helpful!

I started a pod Etsy shop 18 days ago. I only have 12 listing but I didn’t think I would make a sale anytime soon. With that being said, I made my first sale and started panicking on what to do next. This helped me out so much.
I messaged them and thank them for the purchase. Printify is in production. My only concern is.. since you have to use your card on printify to send it to production. what happens if someone buys a lot and I can’t send it to productions because of the funds? What would happen.
Good question. I hope she responds as I would like to know as well. It is my biggest concern. In case she does not see your question, I have heard advice suggesting that you can extend your production/shipping times to further out, you can up the cost of the product to slow sales down, and as a last resort, you can put your shop on vacation mode until you have more funds on your credit card to work with.
@@Bekind95 ugh thats good advice.that was my go to result too. It kind of made me slow down coming up with stuff and listing because I don’t want to have to cross that bridge if something happened. I may get a credit card on file strictly for that.

That is a pretty common scam, here is a video I did all about scams so you know what to look out for! Since making this video, Etsy made an update that in the inbox there is now a "from etsy" section, so if you ever get any messages from Etsy and it's not in the "from etsy" section, then it's a scam for sure! Doesnt it go through to Printify on its own? Please cairify! Thank you! In case you ask, yes my accounts are linked together. :) Etsy to my Printify.
Yes as long as your shop and printify are linked and you have your orders set up to go through automatically, then they will make it! You just need to check the settings like I show in this video!

Since for now I am using the credit card I have, it’s not a points credit card, but it’s really low interest rate. So maybe that’s the next step is to get a good points credit card. I got a couple of Etsy support messages saying that 2 people have purchased one of my items. However there are no orders in my orders area and the orders don’t look complete. So what do I do?
It sounds like that could potentially be messages from scammers! There have been lots of scammers recently on the platform targeting new sellers. So Etsy recently made a "from etsy" section in your messages. If the messages show up in your normal inbox on Etsy, then it's not actually from them and you want to mark it as spam! Hello Cassiy. I am so grateful for everything you have shared on your channel. Your expertise is invaluable to us aspiring Etsy sellers! I do have a question...I opened an Etsy store in 2021 with the intent of selling dog clothing, but I never actually got going and deactivated all of my items, but never closed my store. I am now looking at opening a POD store. Should I reopen the existing store or open a brand new one? I don't know if my inactivity will hurt my chances of selling, especially if it says my store opened in 2021, but I have zero sales.
I think you are totally fine to use your existing store and you’ll have the benefit of not going through the opening process and getting your shop suspended. Just make sure you go connect your bank account to plaid right away so that they can verify it!

I was my own first customer to make sure everything worked as expected. Of course, my order from Etsy didn't make it to Printify even after a week, so I had to manually do the order with Printify. Reconnected my Etsy account to Printify and made sure everything was setup properly and placed another order with a newly created item. Same issue. No automatic order syncing for me. Can't figure out why.
Hey there, same thing happened with me today. I just got my first order, were you able to resolve the issue, also did you get paid by Etsy. As per Etsy my sales covered the fees and funds to deposit still shows as zero 😢
@@jyo1343 Yes, I finally got it resolved. I had to remove the listings from Etsy and disconnect the store, mark the items in Printify as disabled, or whatever term they use, then re-add my Etsy account and republish, then it all started working again. I got paid for all sales, including those initial ones.

Congrats on your first sale! Nothing needed to do on the Etsy side if you have everything connected, then Printify will send the tracking info and mark it as shipped once it's ready!
