Immediately after his original episode aired, Cycloramic enjoyed the fabled "'Shark Tank' bump," rocketing to the number one spot on iTunes. This led to $1.5 million in sales. However, Cycloramic couldn't sustain its sales after that year. Eventually, Francois used his tech know-how to start another digital photography company, Car360. It gives customers a full 360-degree views of a vehicle they might want to buy. Shortly before his "Shark Tank" update, Francois sold Car360 to Carvana for a cool $22 million.

In all my years of watching shark tank this has gotta be one of the coolest pitches I’ve seen.
Daemon would have tanked this product. He has no connections and zero clue how it works. Daemon just wanted a piece of the pie without putting any work into it. The man was smart to completely ignore Daemon.
And Damon is a crook. He totally scammed the BBQ guy from years ago

mark saw value in the man’s usage of the vibration technology for longevity of owning the tech for future uses, lori adds value from the product and marketing perspective. talk about dream team.
Mark was the best partner, he knows tech and involved in several businesses that can utilize this application to maximize its utilization!

this doesn't work on iPhone 6, 7, 8, X, XR, and 11 since the edges are round, so I think this app would work only for a short time. The sharks were short sighted.

Do some research. It sold for millions to Carvana. it has much more applications than just with iPhone. It’s the data and technology that’s valuable.
This was one of the cooler negotiations I’ve seen on Shark Tank… everyone wanted it and I’m kinda surprised how in demand it was in the tank!

The fun fact is here Apple the following year changes the shape and it made the app useless for phones. But they pivoted to 360 photos for car dealerships and such using the patent. There’s an interview with mark cuban about it.

Amazing idea and use of the vibrating facility on handset but how many times when you want to use it would you have a level surface to put it on.
If someone didnt want to wait like Lori just say "Lori i love your deal and want to work with you but can you partner with someone so we have 2 sharks' that opens up the discussions and doesnt make her feel rejected. Then can always drop her.
issue is they'll think you liked the first valuation ,you'll get less money that way.

Proof of concept I suppose. I believe they went into a different kind of market in the end. Likely for that very reason
this episode aired in 2014, and was filmed in 2013, before anyone knew the iphone 6 would have rounded corners.

This is one of those where the inventor and his engineering chops might actually be more valuable than the product itself. Product is very clever but easily something Apple could kill with their own free app/product if they don't acquire the company.
