Currently, in 2023, ONLY 42% (approx.) of Americans have a PASSPORT ! That is mind blowing in comparison to the majority of the world ? Obviously they travel within the US, and admittedly the US is BIG, so they don't need to see the rest of the world? They can JUST meet other Americans - HOW GOOD IS THAT - lol duh! 😎
@@casmatori The majority of the world has to WORK. But I'm in the UK and get 28 days 'paid', holiday time off BY LAW! Plus, this year 9 Bank holidays too (because of the Coronation of King Charles III this May). Americans just seem to 'WORK to LIVE!' Unlike Europe and most of the world, the law doesn't entitle Americans to paid holidays; Which is just CRAZY... 🤔

I love how you totally ignored the Statue of Eros in Piccadilly Circus. One of London's most famous landmarks 😄. Kids will do that to you when they know you are heading to Hamleys. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip. I hope it all went well.
Another Trip? Welcome back! Bad timing though, we are in Spring... which means our wettest weather lol. Tuesday is supposed to be sunny... but rain for a week... Typical for UK. Probably back in sunny US by now, but just incase.
I would say that CAC should also visit Greece as well, whenever time permits. When I was in London, back in the '70s, the War Museum was great, I remember they also had a German U-boat that people could walk through. They also have some old ships in London, one can visit like HMS Belfast. The British Museum with ancient artifacts is also great.
Even if not this trip, try to get out of London and up into East Anglia. London is kind of its own beast but East Anglia is a lot like people expect England to be (lost of small villages, pubs, towns etc.)
The view 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nice to see the kids enjoying themselves though. I moved from a remote part of Scotland to the states then back to Edinburgh for a few years, then been in London for 6 years now, there's some great places
Great video! Glad to see you're enjoying your stay and making some great memories for your family 👍 Also... Top Marks for your tea making skills!!! 👍👍👍 That looked like an excellent brew!! 🫖☕😉
Enjoy! You should definitely take a visit to Wales one day, visit Cardiff Castle, you could travel half way to the next town and stymble across another castle with how many we have here.. You could also come to Wales for the brecon beacons, where most of the military and primarily the SAS do their training But be warned.. you might fall in love with how beautiful Wales is ;) celebrities have been to Wales for tv shows and moved here because of it, just saying ;) enjoy!
Oh my, what a beautiful family, your children are adorable! Your son reminds me of my own when he was a little boy, that was the days! Travelling with kids are the best you can do, we were always on the road with our kids and I think they grow a lot from that. Not always abroad, there is many things to explore at home and between that hike around: the mountains, forest, go fishing. Makes them appreciate the small things in life.
If you venture outside of London, the Royal Armouries in Leeds is a fantastic day out. Tank Museum in Bovington also very worth a trip . Imperial War Museum in Duxford also highly recommended
Beautiful family you have never knew you had two kids, welcome to the uk hope you have fun it's not as bad as what some people say it is it has it's faults as does every other place. Just the weather can be a bit crap at times cold and windy

Hope you like the UK. We live about about an hour NE of London, yet every time we visit, the only thing my daughters are interested in is a visit to Hamleys! 😆
Hey, I really wish I was in London to hope to bump into you and tell you how much I love the channel. Have been watching since your early days! I hope you and the family have an amazing time in our capital. See if you can get yourself to Borough Market, make sure you're hungry because there's so much amazing food there. Same for Camden Market. Get yourself a Jamaica Ginger Cake in any decent supermarket, I love those! Head along to any of the museums, they're basically all free. The kids especially will like the Science museum as there are so many hands on practical experiments to try. You and the missus would also enjoy the Imperial War museum. Again, have an awesome time, I will be watching along 🤟
For Jaffacakes, try getting the boxes of wrapped lunchbox servings. There is 6 packs of 4 cakes wrapped in foil, so they are a lot fresher than the standard box.
Haha! expect to be inundated with Jaffa Cakes with packets of tea in future! 🤣 I always get my mates to bring back Hershey's PayDay from the States. Make sure you go to St. James's Palace, as that's where you can stand close to the guardsmen for photos.
You should go to the Cabinet War Rooms in Whitehall. It’s where Winston Churchill and his cabinet + Military leaders made all the big decisions in WWII. Darkest Hour was filmed there. Very interesting place when it comes to Military History. Great for kids as well.
