    Very cool, I'm kind of new at this and I've been struggling with this problem as soon as I'm done putting this comment in I'm ordering 105 paper Thank you so much I'm glad to see that you were so excited, it's fun isn't it?

    I have some 105 A-Sub but was recently told to go from 120 to 125 for tumblers. But I’ll try anything.
    But as a semi-newb trying to get past this issue it was really frustrating that you didn’t show the seam as you taped. I want to know if you overlap at all or if you try to cut it perfect enough that the edges but up together.

    I am so happy I came across this video. I wondered if the paper weight had any bearing on the seam! Yours came out perfect. Thank you

    I am newer to sublimating tumblers and mugs. I ordered A-sub paper 105 just because it seemed like a happy medium between the most expensive 125 weight and the economy version. My mugs and tumblers have all turned out well. No complaints. I haven’t tried 125 but I don’t feel the need to and it’s more expensive

    Hi Amy.. May I ask what paper settings you use. I have this paper but using my 125 and 123 GSM paper settings makes then paper too wet.
    Should I use plain paper and maybe use high instead of best quality...or lower my print density?

    what size do you make it to print it?

    • @amycreates1075
      @amycreates1075  Год назад

      Mine are 9.3x8.2 inches in photoshop when I design them and then I print them at that same size. There is some excess white around the edges but I just trim that off and the design will wrap around at the right size.

  • @swood674

    What printer are you using? I have the Sawgrass 500 and the ink is gel based so I need the heavier paper for a better ink release. I will try the Pinch Perfect and see if that helps.

      @@amycreates1075And you had a huge gap on the top of your tumbler press. Mine is tightened to it meets at top the. Backed off a bit.
      Before and after you rotated your tumbler we could see a gap between the paper and the tumbler along the edge of the cup. I can’t understand how it successfully transferred without under-processed imagery. This is my first time to your videos. I hope I’ll find a newer update addressing some of those same areas.

      Same- i just trim those off. My usual design size is 9.3x8.2inches in photoshop and I print off at that size and then just trim the white off and it will wrap around at the right size.

    Going to try this paper, bought the pinch perfect and does not work threw it away. I'm guessing when 2 solid colors meet like black on black most of the times you will get a seam line.
