He is so lucky that he found his one true love when he was young (at all, really). He and his wife have both had blessed lives.❤

I remember listening to “Schools Out” every year when I was a kid growing up! And I still love the song!

Alice and Bowie belong on the same stage in my musical memories, after them everything else was pretty much just background noise with occasional highlights....>just IMO of course. ✌️

I was a young teen living in Ohio. I would sneak into all the visiting rock bands that toured through our area - it was a lot of fun. I had long hair, I could blend.
When Alice Cooper came to town, the first time, we really didn't know what the heck that was who was performing on stage, but we liked it. He would be hitting the mike stand with a hammer kind of chanting for his opening song. The band was good, he was very entertaining.
As usually, I never paid to get in. I remember several times kind-of walking in with his band and standing on the side of the stage only feet away from Alice performing. He was riveting. At times I would glance out at the audience, all staring up at him, and sometimes at me, probably wondering who I was, was I in the band...
It was just fun. I probably owe Alice Cooper a bucket load of money for the many times I never paid to attend his shows. But they were worth it.

The band was probably wondering who you were too....probably thought you must have had something to do with the venue.

@@Lengsel7 Could be... It was a great time to be a part of the music happening at that time.

“Muscle of Love” changed my life. And since then I was fascinated with Alice Cooper.
Alice would have achieved what he achieved without Sheryl. He already had achieved so much before he even met her.
What Sheryl did was prevent him from losing it. Alice was well on that road of self destruction. Alice knew that Sheryl was too good to lose and she set limits with his behavior and let him know that the only man whose love she would accept would be sober and committed to her.
Sheryl had enough self-respect that Alice found his own.

I love that he has been faithful to his wife for all these years and also has come to saving faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He is now a Christian, which shows that nobody is too far gone for the love of Christ. Just beautiful.

But.... he was raised with Jesus!
So, he just made sure not to stray too far.❤

Loved his original band, but I really lost interest when he released Welcome to My Nightmare with a pick up band including Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner. They were both great guitarists, but the band just didn't have the original spark. I went to see the Nightmare show at Cobo Hall, and the audience never got on their feet until the end when they played some numbers from Billion Dollar Babies. That was the last Cooper show I ever attended.

Whatever dude. I still think Welcome to my Nightmare is his best LP of all time. 😊

@@GreenHeet Yuck. "Only Women Bleed?" It's like Alice was neutered.
Better than Billion Dollar Babies? Better than Killer? Better than Schools Out, Muscle of Love, Easy Action, or Love It to Death? Sorry, no way. I'm inclined to think you've never listened to most of, or maybe any, his early stuff.

Pretties and Easy Action are pretty crap. Schools Out by far his best ever followed by BDB. 4evaafan.
