I knew I would eventually find this again man it has to be at least 15 yrs since ive seen this wasnt for sure if i played it or not until the building arena, aww flashback to my 7 yr old self down ol memory lane lol where has the time gone...

Those graphics look good for a PS1 game.
I don't know about that. Gran Turismo came out like 2 years before this and had way better detail. Demolition Racer came out around the same time and had a better damage system as well.
mat2000100 The footage here is from a PSX/ PS One emulator, it improves the textures and frame rates a little. I've played some of my old PS One games on an emulator, and indeed some run with better graphics but others tend to lag or glitch at times.

After seeing this video I'm glad DD2 and Demolition Racer (which I believe wasn't related but felt close) are the ones I got to play growing up. DD2 was my first PSX game and I played that disc to shreds

This actually looks horrible in direct comparison to the first 2 DD games, it's clear to see the beginnings of the cartoony direction that Studio 33 took which ultimately led to the demise of the series. Would be great if Reflections could take back the series and give us a true Destruction Derby 3.
Next Car Game Wrecked, is the modern version of DD, it's the closest to the DD game of my/our childhood

the damae model sucks compared to the first 2 DD games. takes way too long for any damage to appear on the cars and you can't lose tyres and break the axle like in DD2.
Nothing comes close to DD2.
Yes man! And the soundtrack, speed of the game, crashes... pretty much everything besides the grafics was better in DD2.

The first one was better. In this one the cars are way to fast and you hit the sides more then anything else. Also the tracks are to wide

The car handling was AWFUL in this game.

Loved pulling the e-brake with nitrous counter-steering after, only could hold drifts that way though. But still, possible. Gameshark to have it forever would have been nice

This was utter shit in comparison to the first two. As a standalone game it would be good though. It didn't deserve to be associated with the first two though.
