What are then benfits of using reflective insulation vs. Cedar? (aside from cost)
What about the studies that concluded NIR can decrease elasticity of collagen and also lead to skin cancer?
Wasn't that with excessive use? I have been researching also and have my concerns because I just built a diy unit, but there was more positive research than harmful and I was under the impression that the harm happens with excessive usage
@@Still_I_Ride I use my NIR panels to heat the sauna quick. Then turn them off and only use far IR. Idk what the studies will show but my sauna feels great either way so that's how I approach it.
Also, keep in mind the point is to sweat out toxins. That's the primary benefit. So at 135-140 degrees using only Far IR gets me sweating more than I would for any workout. That's good enough. If your sauna gets you there without NIR then that's really all you need.
El final hahaha
