Between the artistry of your builds and the soothing background music...I could sit and watch all day! What a paint job!!! 95% of the brakes cables hidden! Wow!
The 2023 Propel is a Great Bike Love it. If i Wanst buying a Trek Last Year this will be my choice. Thanks again vor Sharing those Builds with us it is like a Meditation for Bike Lovers.
Hola! Que importante darle el torque que pide el fabricante, si lo aplicaba me ubiera ahorrado mucha plata, gracias a los malos consejos que decían aprieta a fondo, y echaba a perder las piezas, cada vez que veo un video, aprendo un montón, gracias.
Mine had some cabel holding thing on the fork inside the frame which broke during assembly. Given the fact that it is not used at all here, I guess its not necessary?
I’m enjoying the bike so far ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
Very nice. I've watched so many of these and I've always wanted to ask; are these done at a single bike shop or is that studio shop, purpose built for these videos? Or something else? Thanks.
@@precisiongoalie2286 I don't think the bike is final yet, seat post wasn't cut to size either. But the geometry of the Propel and the TCR is exactly the same (at least in a size L).
@@danielt.4847 good call! I’m no purist either. If someone with disposable income wants a racier bike with their tight posterior chain and poor trunk stability I fit to what walks in my door. Death of the mortal stem has made a pre-purchase size/fitting important. What matters is the videography from Gee. The OG of dream build videos.
Giant Bikes - Dear Gee, we’d like you to produce a dream build video for the new Propel, but it’s not actually sold so you can’t cut the steerer tube or the the seat post. Gee - no problem. Price is $x, payment terms are 50% up front, 50% on completion Giant - actually payment terms are net 120 days after the submission of a satisfactory invoice, and we deem what a satisfactory invoice is. No payments will be made without the completion of a final product.

Best spec’d bike on the market in terms of weight, aero, components, quality, and aesthetics.

Beautiful bike, great work, but not crazy about the seat post and seat clamp....
My dream bike..
What bars did you fit? The standard ones are way too wide

Can someone explain to me how the cable for the rear brake run so it will be in front of the tube without interfering?
Super
What about total weight?
Where is the cable guide on the fork?

I seem to remember googling it myself a while back. I think it's a bike shop in Sheffield from memory
Weight ???🙂🙂🙂
Who is The name of handlebar?
what brand and type are the spokes?
What syringe is that please?
Anyone know what bartape that is?
Weight please?
Looks like the dude's got the wrong bike size 😂
As a bike fitter, I’d say he’s after the Defy, let alone the Propel. Frame stack and reach ratio error. Cognitive bias issues not size issues.

This is probably going to be sold in a shop, so everything was left max length, then cut to fit when sold.
