Given the upgraded towing capacity, and the hype around that.... one would have thought tow packs would be available on launch, instead of getting a cat on day one then having to wait potentially weeks to be able to tow with it 😂😂😂
Call me a sceptic but I am seeing a lot of Nissan in this vehicle - has anyone checked / compared the underlying body and mechanical layout (apart from exterior styling etc)? Look at the shape of the doors, windscreen, wheelbase etc. Dunno about the engine but...
No way will putting a 3.5 ton trailer behind this will it be within load limits. Especially since the dude in the video claims "wider, can carry more stuff, hence a better tow vehicle". In fact the more stuff you load into the thing, the LESS you can tow. It will probably still be the king of chassis breaking when towing at max legal (3.0 ton, probably).
@@kylelockwood523 Perfectly breaking the law I'd say. Seems you know nothing about GVM, GCM, etc in Australia. if you live in a different country, no-one cares about legalities.
Seems like you know nothing about what, and how I’m towing.. or the care for legalities in different countries. I have 80kg payload so when I’m towing 3.5t my GCM is within legal requirements.
@einfelder8262 you have no idea. The MV is rated 3.5t towing, GVM is 3200kg, GCM is 6250kg. Tare on these is 2085kg so unless he loaded up another 685kg in the Ute he's legal.
Would love to see some reviews on towing with it.
Nice positive review 👍👍
Old Triton is good manuvering faster and pretty front dynamic shield
The old and the new Mitsubishi Triton i always like it both very very pretty futuristic advance Technology intelligent engineers
Interested if price is right.
Wouldn't mind seeing a GLS vs TDI500 Amarok 2 towing 2.5T comparison.

P.S. When I say Nissan - I mean Renault-Nissan because all three of them are in bed together.
3.5t only with a 3 axle trailer and max 4% vertical load in the tow ball, that’s from Mitsubishi itself. Clearly short of the competition
Predecessors exterior looks better.

Ive got the new model and towing 3.5 perfectly fine.
