Walking the plank walk at Mount Hua (Hua Shan) located near the city of Huayin in Shaanxi province, about 120 kilometres east of Xi'an, China. This video was taken in May 2014.

Yea, these straps just give people a false sense of security, a peace of mind to climb this over populated unsafe attraction route.
@@Mr.DinosaurPD yeh bloody unsafe lol!

My heart is dropping by watching this journey.
Soo amazing 😍
There used a be a small trail that leads to the top and it takes about 4 hrs to do. Now they have a cable car to bring you to the top in minutes. Along the way you can still see the trail carved into stone.
You're a so many different things that could happen on this plank walk! For instance, What if somebody Panics and refuses to go any further which then leaves everybody else stranded on Those little ladders for hours or longer and that's just 1 thing that could happen! It is so crazy to me !
That's China for you, no health and safety, no welfare or respect for human lives. It's a terrible country.
That would never be allowed here, in a trillion years.
It's insane and totally and utterly stupid. Sorry, but anyone who dares to walk it deserves to fall off.
It is the Western mountain of the Five Great mountains of China and has a long history of religious significance. Enjoy a full-day tour to Mount Huashan to see Buddhist and Taoist temples, walk through the mountains and admire the spectacular landscape.
Good luck to anyone brave
enough to venture up to the top of the mountain. 🇨🇳
Magical experience! (Shan actually means mountain in Mandarin).

mount hua Mount? what's hua mean in mandarin?
💐 Hello 😊
From Chinese (hua) meaning splendid, illustrious, or "flower, blossom". I don't know its true meaning but I do strongly believe Chinese mythology and philosophy. The nature of the earth, the universe and their relationship to each other. Earthly realms and the heavenly ones. It just makes perfect sense. Peace, love and happiness to you always. ❤🙏

Walked this plank in March of 07 no problem. Cake walk and you can do it too! Good luck!.....At the end of this walk is a temple room inside the mountain for prayers and thanks.

😅
There is a big office there with computers you dont see them 🤣
Very light life to them.
Omgee!😮,I'm shaking just watching these people 🫢🫣🫨😬😱😮😢😩🙏
Suddenly you heard the shop owner screaming to everyone rain storm is coming in 3 minute and we are closing now.
I would be more comfortable with less people, or less scared. I don’t like the low barrier where the safety harnesses were put on 😳
I thought the same
