Heh. Met Rahiem in LA about 97. We became friends and I heard what he was doing for the Chronic 2000 album on deathrow before Dre left and made 2001. Rahiem had production/beat skills. He had a group he was producing called The Filthy Immigrants. Them boys had flow. I was an MC at the time and we would hold cyphers--lyrically and herbily. Ra was the one that introduced me to mixing chronic and Moroccan hash. We were at his artists crib and I remember I got so damn high. Upstairs where we were it was an old style house that had a door that led to the other duplex. This girl lived there that was FOINE. I was sitting next to her on the couch and so blowed that I was speaking my thoughts...about her and what I wanted to do. LOL. They were all laughing and she told me what I said. I was like you read my mind!? HAHAHA. Other than that, Ra is a friggin HILARIOUS dude and a deep historian of HipHop much like KRS-ONE who I met at the first Temple of HipHop meeting. But I got to learn so much in all areas of the music. There was a dope track that Ra and Caz did together called "When I touch down". I can't find it so it may have never been released. But I was in the studio that day when they were working on it. Lots of memories at those times.
findmestudios is right. Caz performed three verses in the documentary. This one (minus the last two bars), a verse he did on a track with Ice and Filthee called Ayayay, and the one he wrote on the spot.
Both were dope but Caz killed it...word up!
