Getting close... time to get the finance/docs together. 1) Call your dealer to check the status of your ransitional private offer. 2) If you are financing, apply for loan at like PenFed or Navy Federal Credit Union, as I heard they have the best rate going right now for new cars. 3) Ask your dealer how much they will accept on Credit Card, personal check, cash, bank check, cashier check, minimum deposit etc. 4) Ask your dealer what other documents they need for you to drive off the lot. I am sure they will ask if you have a trade-in...
My 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid XLT is a fantastic vehicle. 47 mpg, hot pepper red, and they held my 2022 price so out the door $25K. Very thrilled with the truck and I'm sure you will be too.
I didn't pre-order. But called several delaerships in my area and told them to put me on a call list if one was in stock. Two weeks ago, I get a call that a 2023 Mavrick XL pre-order is sitting on the lot and the customer doesn't want it. I will give it to you for MSRP if you come get it today. I was the new owner about 45 minutes later. The hybrid is so dang nice. Everything mechanical is working as expected. You might get the pillar or dash rattle. My passenger "A pillar" and the corner window make a vibrating noise over hairline cracks in the road. However, my sales rep had the same thing happen with his mavrick, and turned out to be a bad seal on the window. I'm putting mine in the shop to let them take a look. A very minor issue, but figured I'd mention it.
@@brendandrives I bet it’ll look sweet in person, hopefully there’s no metallic flake in it. That’s why I love my 2021 F-150 SuperCab STX 4x4 5.0 in Lead Foot Gray so much! The LAST year for that paint color before it was discontinued, and the ONLY year it was available for that generation of F-150.
Sounds like we are on similar tracks, I ordered my Lariat Hybrid in 2022 and had to reorder for the 2024, Got build date week of Nov 6 then it was built the next week and am waiting for shipping. I am in Northern California Ford tracking projects delivery dec 7 - Dec 20 guess may make a Christmas present for me. Still no sticker page on tracking sight and only online manuals seem to be for 2023 versions. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving and good luck in getting your Terrain Hybrid. Congratulations! mine went quick from production to shipping, I was notified it was in production, built the next day, in shipping the day after that. Shipping was a bit more stressful as it went back and forth a few times, but eventually showed up a few days before expected. All in all, from production to delivery was about a month, and I'm in NY.
Man, to ride this out to the end - I can feel your excitement! I waited 2 weeks short of a year to get my 22 Lariat hybrid. Can’t believe that window got longer. But with a 3rd shift going, they should be pumping out Mavericks this winter.
Although I didn't special order my Maverick, I bought (ordered) my '23 on 10/20 and on 10/24 it was updated as built and in Tucson, AZ. By 11/13 it was in Newark awaiting transport to the dealership and finally arrived on 11/18. The month dragged on but the anticipation was worth it!

I had to reorder twice. I got a price adjustment of $2700 after the 1st year and now my adjustment w carryover should be around $7200. I had been asked several times to change my order. Even w the adjustment I have lost several items such as keypad, spray in liner, sliding rails, and my preferred color.

I just received my Maverick about 5 weeks ago. Here's my experience: I got the "Built" notification on 9/8; I got the "Shipped" notification 9/16; they said it was in Arizona between 9/20 and 9/24 (I didn't record this date); in Chicago 9/28; still in Chicago 10/4; arrived at my dealer in Chesapeake, VA 10/19. I learned that trains are alot slower that I thought they were. If you are in Arizona or thereabouts, though, you should get yours in a no more than 3 weeks if everything is the same as it was for me. I got my window sticker before it was shipped, though.

@@brendandrives I got an XLT with trailer hitch and full-size spare - no other options. So, no power seats, no adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, etc. I got it in Area 51, but I probably would've gotten your color if it had been available for 2023. Did you have to pay 2024 prices for yours? If not, that may be why there's a glitch with your window sticker. I'm very, very happy with the way it drives and rides. It's way quieter than I expected, and feels way more torquey than the official torques specs. It feels more like a 6 cylinder than a 4 cylinder. The ride is smooth, controlled, and very comfortable. It was worth waiting for.
That’s a great middle ground spec and shockingly cheap for what you get. I don’t yet know 100% for sure if I’ll get the $2,500 price adjustment for going from a 2023 Lariat Hybrid to a 2024. But I really hope so
Sounds like our trucks were built and shipped the same days. I ordered alto blue, FX4, Laiat Lux on Jul 17. Theoretically supposed to arrive at dealer in Seattle 11/24.
One of my subscribers here emailed me and showed that the link I was using to look it up just needed the trucks VIN added at the end of the URL. Then it worked! I may make a window sticker video if that’s something people would like to see. Or compare that window sticker to my old trucks sticker.
Took delivery of my carbonized grey XLT Tremor a week ago. About 3wks from shipped to delivery. Also I don’t know if you changed your 23 to 24 specs but Ford took $1900 off the MSRP because I got bumped to a 24 model.
Nice! I think a Tremor is such an appealing package. If I didn’t want the hybrid, I would have gone full off-road spec with a Tremor. Yeah my 23 order got bumped to a 24 so I should be getting $2500 off MSRP! Definitely making a video going over all the costs, add-ons, taxes, financing and everything once I pick it up!
I'm wondering if all the 2023 bumped orders are taking priority on the parts shortages and shipping opportunities. Mine went into production 2 days after yours. XLT Hybrid. No options. Took 5 weeks to build. Been 2 weeks and it still hasn't shipped. I'm assuming that you received yours, and mine was 2 days behind and hasn't left Mexico

@@jeno5347 great! I really like the ability to order exactly what you want and not pay any extra for it BUT waiting over a year is pretty ridiculous. So I think it depends on what you want and when you need to have it!

Sounds like it was built really quickly but the shipping took quite a while! I guess it IS 2650 miles or so from the factory to New York...

You may not get a window sticker uploaded on the app for the maverick. Mine never did. I was lucky and got mine 3 months after ordered this year.

My 2024 maverick hybrid XLT went into production on 17 November 2023. I am also a carryover from September 2022

The door keypad was discontinued for 2024 as well as rear slider. Keypad is available as dealer added option.
