I was 19 with a baby when this song came out. It was my anthem to get to my child's father. Almost 50 years ago. Never got back to her father and my love. She is my love still today, very happily so! She is happy and healthy and about to turn 50! I still cry through the song that I have always had. Go Poco!
It's the first time I hear this song, can you imagine. I'm 71 now and I listen at the moment to the Eagles, Randy Meisner and so I've come to Poco. What a wonderful song, what a beautiful harmonies. SUPER MUSIC Glad I found this. ❤❤
I am pretty sure it was 1978 that I saw Poco sing this song live in South Bend Indiana. When they played this song so many people were singing along that one could hear it in the seats and it was pretty cool. After they finished playing there was a brief silence in the Morris Auditorium, and then then everyone started screaming and clapping. Over the years this song has remained one of my favorites, and takes me back to a time that I miss. I wish Poco would have gone further, but the contribution they made was awesome.
I am watching Bones 😧 Brennan and Booth sing this song and wow is on RUclips 😮 it's beautiful. Finally, I leave this message here so that when I get older this message has many likes and many ones watch Bones
I discovered "BONES" earlier this year in re-runs on TV. Intrigued, I started watching from Season 1. I'm on Episode 18 of Season 2 now. Bone's father bought her snickerdoodles and asked if she remembered this song. He sang just the first line and I paused the episode to see if RUclips had the whole song. RUclips always come through! Pretty song.
I lost a lifelong friend this week and this song has been stuck in my head. I had no idea what the video would be however.... My friend raised horses, so this video really ripped out my heart and soul.
This was a song from my much younger years. Applicable then, Applicable now. Just gotta put your head down, your heart open, and let our Father take the reins. He'll bring you home......
Keep On Tryin is from the Head Over Heels album, with Poco consisting of Rusty Young, Paul Cotton, Timothy B. Schmit, and George Grantham. The song was written by Schmit, who sang lead.
Conchita
Thank you, dear Aneema! I'm so glad you liked the concept. As I listened to the song, I could just imagine cowboys sitting around a campfire at night with their guitars singing in harmony under the stars. I hope you have a very lovely weekend, dear angel friend. Love, Sandy
Thank you very much, Sandy. Your comment came just when I needed it most. Everyone who really knows me knows that lying is one thing I can't stand. Especially when the lies come from someone you thought loved you or was a friend. It really makes me feel betrayed whether I'm lied to or lied about. I'm so glad you liked this song and video. Have a terrific Sunday! இڿڰۣڿڰ♥Sandy
That's right, Eugenia. You know I won't give up, but will always keep on trying. Thank you so much for watching and always being so encouraging and supportive. Happy weekend, dear friend! God bless. Love, Sandy
Thank you! I'll tell you a little secret--I hadn't heard it in a long time either! But I've been wanting to make a video of a Poco song, and this was the one I liked best. I appreciate your taking the time to watch and your kind compliment! Have a great weekend. :-) Sandy
Thank you very much, Jennie! I love being the mountains so very much, although I only get to visit them and don't live there. It's like being close to heaven. Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend. God bless you. ((Hugs)) Sandy

Will always be associated with Bones. Rest in peace Ryan O'Neal who did such a masterful job in portraying Max Keenan in the show.
The best episodes were the ones he was in IMO

Thank you very much, Daniel! I do appreciate you watching and I'm so glad you enjoyed my video. Have a great week! ♥ Love, Sandy
Didnt come here because of some tv show, liked this song since my dad played it in the early 80's on vinyl.
Do you think that makes you better than people who discovered a song through "some show?"
I was one of those Dads. What a thrill it must be to find this on tv.
Thank you Timothy B Schmit for this beauty. One of my all time favorites.
That's where I heard this song and many other good songs was from my favorite show BONES
Me too! I love this song!!!❤❤❤
