I always imagine a kind of comical pendemonium going on with a whole litter of demons just running helter skelter all around the room like scared little turbo chooks, all just trying to get away from the Holy Spirit in me when the chorus is going, "DON'T WANT NO MONSTERS IN MAH HOUSE TONIGHT, DON'T WANT NO MONSTERS IN MAH HOUSE!" The music is so upbeat it brings uproarious levity to a very supernatural situation.
This was my favorite song by Carman 😄 it did scare me a little though, but at the same time it taught me to not fear demons and how to cast them out in Jesus's name.
When I grew up I lived in a legit haunted house and at night when the spirits were most active I played this song in my head. Was too scared too sing out loud. My mom also saw my terror night after night and gave me a bible to put under my pillow. I dont know if it was just a placebo effect or the real deal but the activity died down. God be praised. The occult and ghosts and ouijas are no joke or to be dealt with lightly. Spiritual attacks are the most terrifying things. I think that there were actual ghosts in that old home but there was demonic activity as well. It took the shape of things I had seen on horror films and there was a rotting smell. That or the smell of brimstone is associated with the demonic. I pray to god me and my son are never attacked again !!
Songs of deliverance are biblical and should be given a huge spot in your spiritual walk with Jesus Christ. Even the cute little song "Jesus Loves Me" can have devastating effects and send demons packing and running for their very lives when they come against you as children of God. God will use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise......so there's that. p.s. When in need, ask God to send you a song of deliverance and He will according to your need and situation. But when you do, get ready for goodness to happen. He can be something like the all time best spiritual DJ ever!!! And as always His timing and power is PERFECT!!!!
