After I flashed and updated BIOS the first time, the red and orange lights disappeared for the first time, and was replaced by a white LED, but then everything went back to how it was after I shut off the pc and turned it back on I keep trying to reupdate the BIOS just like I did the first time to no avail. It worked completely fine the first time so I’m just a a completely loss on what went wrong. ANY help is appreciated. I really just want to get this thing set up. either the USB drive is not compatible or the bios file is not in the correct format
@@mikesunboxinghow do I know which is the right format?
I’m trying to do this with the b650-p variant and it’s refusing to boot
sorry to hear that, how far does the flash get?
@@mikesunboxing The flash goes all the way through but it doesn't work unless the cpu is in the mobo. We think the cpu might be dead

My bios light flashed for awhile the went solid
that means it can't read the USB stick or the file is wrong
I thought m - flash was flashing rhe bios in bios?
it is really but the process is mechanically or electrically using the same feature, just another way of doing it
@@mikesunboxing ahhh. One more question. When trying to update bios and after downloading the extracted zip on my 32gb usb. It doesn't show anything on the drive when in bios m-flash. Any thoughts?

You need a trench coat for these videos, you flash a lot 😀
haha good idea, and with the weather here it wouldn't look out of place
Hey guys, I’m currently having huge issues setting up my first PC with this motherboard.
Everything works, the CPU is getting power, RAMS getting power, GPU getting power, but the RED and Orange LED will NOT turn on, nor will my GPU FULLY turn on. (Fans spin, but LEDS don’t turn on) Of course, also no display.
I flashed and updated the BIOS just like in this video and it WORKED! But ONLY once. After I flashed and updated BIOS the first time, the red and orange lights disappeared for the first time, and was replaced by a white LED, but then everything went back to how it was after I shut off the pc and turned it back on
I keep trying to reupdate the BIOS just like I did the first time to no avail. It worked completely fine the first time so I’m just a a completely loss on what went wrong.
ANY help is appreciated. I really just want to get this thing set up. I can’t even get to a BIOS screen and that’s really bugging me

did you ever fix this??
@@Thumpahh yes, it ended up being a completely defective motherboard unfortunately. I ended up having to buy a new motherboard to even get a BIOS on my screen.
You may have a completely different problem than what I had, but If you’ve tried literally EVERYTHING, and still can’t get a bios to boot then it’s more than likely the motherboard or the CPU 🙏
Is it fine to flash if I already have the cpu and ram installed?
yes that is fine to do, just easier to diagnose a fault with less parts involved
Will it not work if you skip the step where you change the file to .Rom?
that is right, i don't add these steps for fun you know :-)
I should have stayed on console instead of trying to build a pc 😅but its to late im in to deep i already have my cpu and gpu building is gonna be easy but doing this is gonna be so hard i dont even know the words he is using and i dont have a extra pc 😅

Thank you too!

i hope so
I have a new build with this motherboard - I was able to boot into BIOS and an USB Linux disk - then the computer powered off. Right now it will not post ruclips.net/user/shortsYstwijX5sBU?feature=share - would it help me to try a BIOS flash like you describe here ?
worth a try, that seems pretty strange though
@@mikesunboxing I tried to flash using a 4 GB drive. The motherboard LED only flashed 2 x 5 times, then went dark. And unfortunately, this did not solve the issue. Do you think the motherboard is defect? - Or is it some other component e.g. RAM?
