BV understands how to win in today's NIL and transfer portal world. His comments are a welcome sight. Let's focus on run oriented and get 5 star OL & DL and recruit 3-4 star QB's & WR's. No more relying on fickle 5 Star QB's. Music to my ears!
Saturday was very much a version of a 1950’s, or a 1980’s offense…both of which won a TON of games. Run the damn ball, and play great defense. Nothing better than physically dominating an opponent.
I’m sorry but I think Joe Jon should’ve been the guy the first time. I think him and Kevin Jon’s should be the guys. They have completely changed that offense with little time. Not saying it’s great but it’s a huge improvement from the start.
Buster Faulkner would be great. 2 national championships with Georgia, runs the ball well, puts the qb in a good position, and is very good at the time of possession. Imagine what he could do with really good athletes
7-10 days 😱? It better not be. We heard they wanted it done by Monday. Certainly it isn’t taking 10 more days. That’s so risky as far as losing commits imo
I like an offense that can do it all, that stuff what got ran Saturday night ain't going to work all the time. JA ain't that qb, he doesn't throw or read defenses that good, all he wants to do is run the ball
You can't run QB's now like you did in the old wishbone days. Unless you have 3 or 4 of them ready to step in when the QB gets broken in half. The players today are just too big and too fast to make running a QB like that successful for a whole season.
NO CURRENT QB on the roster Kim play at a high-level in the passing game accuracy and anticipation knowledge correct reads cannot SLING IT!!! Baker, Kyler, Jaden, Spencer, Caleb, and Dillion all had a high level of passing efficiency. They weren’t perfect, but do you really believe that Michael or Jackson can deliver to that level with another year of development?????????????????
@ SQ ONE NEW SYSTEM NEXT YEAR HOWEVER Five new offensive linemen and devastating injuries at the wide receiver position that needs to be taken into account. One of the two needs to develop, and most likely one or maybe both might not be here.

Ain’t pretty, but I’ll take 24-3 ass whippings every single Saturday. Hopefully the OC hire embraces our ability to run the ball.
I hope regardless who we hire for OC we’re able to retain JJF somehow. I think he has great potential as play caller
You can run the ball a lot but you still have to have that passing threat to complement the run game
That’s why I’m a big fan of the Georgia tech OC. Along with the fact he has SEC experience
Remember whats important
Pray for Coach BV wife
she is in Cancer treatment.
As a Texas fan, thank you for pretty much securing us a playoff spot.
No problem, i mean this in the best way possible, but i hope you guys lose the rest of the way. Lookin forward to a more competitive RRR next year
20:11 You're going to do a feature story on Xavier Robinson? Is that still a curse, or have we been able to abolish that by now?

That’s who Lebby wanted to take over when he left.🤷🏾♂️
Good job again guys . Seems like George is hitting his stride.
Alabama’s game was rug the qb and pass off of it. LSU is just the opposite. OU must be able really put a lot of pressure on the LSU qb or lose.

BV admits his bad oc hire, many fans said that when he did what he did

Technically he didn’t fully, he made them go-offensive coordinators.
Maybe Bucky isn’t being discussed because his offense is 46th in the nation 🤷🏻♂️

All those guys didn’t lose all their WRs or have a terrible oline all year. They are both still young.

If you're looking for an example of a turnaround on passing efficiency, remember Jason White.
LOL...None of those guys were freshman with no o-line and no receivers...Pull your head out...
Boomer Sooners Baby
What about just keeping Joe John as OC?
I kind of had the same thought. I think if OU beats LSU, it’s a no brainer. If we have a horrible offensive performance, I think not
Hell nah
He’s not the long term answer. Absolutely should be kept on staff if he wants to stay but we need a big name with an established record.
At least joe john finally crafted a strategy that complements the level of play of the offense
We mustered 10 points on offense last game. That’s the OC you want to keep?
Why is Seth Littrell getting blamed for the offensive line not playing well, it is want it is.
It was Seth’s plays that BB had to go off of. Obviously bad play calling can throw everyone off.
