Jane Darwell is also buried at this cemetery. She was the old woman who feeds the birds in "Mary Poppins".Walt personally offered the role to Ms. Darwell by visiting her at the Old Actors home. He sent a limo to pick her up & take her to the studio. It was her last appearance in a film...
The best drive in theater experience was growing up going to see a Walt Disney new release at the local one screen mom and pop owned theater during the 60's and 70's.Then on sunday night watching the wonderful world of Disney.Walt made growing up a wonderful experience and to think what life would have been without him.Even in death he continues too touch our lives. What an incredible man Mr Walt Disney was and remains to be even to this day.
Nicely done, Adam. I'm sure Walt would appreciate your undying Love for the Lands and Worlds he created. It truly is inspiring to see that people like you strive to be sure that while Walt may be Gone...he is never Forgotten. Rest in Peace Walt E. Disney. Bless you, Adam, for your Great Respect & Admiration for a man who only wanted to bring Joy & Happiness the the Little Kid, in all of us! Stay safe!
thank you SO much for posting how to find the gravesite, they used to be VERY secretive about it and wouldnt readily tell visitors about the exact location for fear of vandalism. I also LOVE Walt and all that he created ! Good luck on your 4 day mini tour with Guttermouth !
I believe his other daughter, biological daughter Diane, has been added there now since this vlog has been done. Awesome person he was, wish I could have seen him when he was alive but I wasn't born yet.
unfortunately the company that Walt founded is no more, since his death it's become a huge corporation that seeks nothing but money and power, the only correlation between Walt and the corporation is they still use his name.🤑
This is a touching, wonderful tribute. When I was in high school, we had to do an oral book report on a biography of a famous person. I picked Walt Disney. Side note: my best friend did her book report on Jimmy Carter...and passed out peanuts for snacks! Anyway, I love Adam the Woo and the awesome videos...thank you so much, Adam!
Thank you so much, Adam for taking me along with you to pay respects to the beloved Walt. I would never be able to go myself. I will always join you, shall I? 😊
Thank You for doing this. I know Walt is looking down and smiling at a wonderful man who truly care and has a heart of gold and i know someday you will be allowed back into disney and hen they do i hope they give you vip lifetime passes and offer you a job filimng around Disney World, I believe you are alot like Walt and I would be honored and lucky if i ever get a chance to meet you and I hope its at disney world and getting your autograph from a modern day Walt disney guy!!!
Hi I enjoy your blogs and I am from Canada. Did you know he was born in Canada and lived in Goderich Ont which is situated on Lake Huron. The center of Disney land I believe in Florida, the main street is based on the town center in Goderich. There was a Tornado which sweeped through there a few years ago and almost destroyed the town. You should do a blog on the the area, SHALL YOU where Walt Disney was born. Just thought this might interest you. Keep up the Good work
Good to see this is also Lillian's resting place, too. Just think, Adam. Not too long ago you got to visit Disneyland, the park Walt dreamed up, built, and opened. You walked in many of the same places where Walt walked. You got to experience Walt's endearing attractions like Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean. Walt died in 1966, but he still touches people, even today.
Going to Disney and thinking one guy thought of this is just amazing I love Walt Disney world going there when I was 4,6 and 9 I miss going I went with my dad and mom and brother and it is amazing I wish I could have met him
I did a PowerPoint presentation on Disney world when I was in college. From my findings he died from lung cancer and his entire body was creamated. I also found a few more tid bit facts that I'm not sure is true so I won't post them.
That's cool to see Adam. Where is his brother buried at? Fred Roger's inspires me having been born in Pittsburgh PA a lot like Walt Disney inspires you. Fred taught me to use our imaginations. We should use our imagination and, make our dreams come true 👍.
Maybe some day I'll make it out to Disneyland and be able to make a side trip up to Forest Lawn. That said, I'm pretty sure Walt is buried there. He was cremated if I remember correctly... but I think his remains are buried there (or maybe in that mausoleum)? Either way... just being able to be in his presence is pretty fantastic.
Walt Disney is not frozen, he was cremated. Michael Jackson is indeed at Glendale, but Marilyn is at the Westwood Memorial Park. I love famous grave sites. :)
Walt was cremated. No one is sure if his ashes are interred in the wall behind the placard or if this was just created for fans by his family to pay tribute (as they have scattered them somewhere)
I thought he had himself frozen....maybe that was Sam Walton? OR neing raised by a mom with addiction for tabloids :-\ Well done as always Mr.Woo! PEACE
Also...Michael Jackson is there too right? and Marilyn Monroe? So Walt is really there and NOT frozen? If anyone would be frozen, it would be a dreamer and innovator like Walt. I n fact, my first day on the internet many many many years ago...first thing I searched, Walt Disney frozen
FREE THE WOO!!!....Walt never would have banned you from WDW ...he probably would have offered u a job...he loved the dreamers of the world...FREE THE WOO
I am a Disney and a Disneyland fanatic and can't get enough Disney. I have a big dream and hope it comes to fruition like Walt's
MsRandomnotes1 That is beautiful...
How awesome that's cool to hear.

Thank you adam..this vlog blog brought a tear to my eye..Walt is one of my inspirations as well. One day I will get out there. Thank you.
Just stumbled across this - thank you for posting. It was a touching tribute and a treat to see.

Thank you Adam for showing us the grave. Not what I expected.
Thanks for sharing with us Adam

Wow. Adam The Woo Hallowed Ground. Thnx! CJ
Am at the grave right now. 🥰 thank you for helping me find it ❤️🙏

It appears that the cemetery landscapers could cut back some of the brush in the garden. The vegetation is overtaking the gravesite.

I am pretty sure that Walt Disney is cremated, so the plaque that says Walter Elias Disney is where his ashes are.
The Lord Of Nothing Yes, true. My Grandfather is next door.

's fantastic that you can be in all these places
es fantastico que puedas estar en todos esos lugares
when I was a kid the rumor was he had his body frozen and put in Sleeping Beauty's castle in Anaheim Disneyland. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I see the resemblance!
+Bumble Tuna , walt was born in chicago. not goderich

I believe my grandparents met him when the were extras on a Disney film. At least we have his autograph to prove it.
A rather understated grave. I hoped he’d have something larger but tasteful.
Thank you I will be visiting soon
I just visited his grave last month, May he rest in peace ll the time.
Larry Fine of the 3 stooges , is also buried in Glendale,, a very nice vblog for a sunday Adam,, thumbs up to you,, have a great day
Going to Disney and thinking one guy thought of this is just amazing I love Walt Disney world going there when I was 4,6 and 9 I miss going I went with my dad and mom and brother and it is amazing I wish I could have met him

WOW!!! We had no idea! My parents are buried on the other side of that wall! Who knew?!
thank you!
I did a PowerPoint presentation on Disney world when I was in college. From my findings he died from lung cancer and his entire body was creamated. I also found a few more tid bit facts that I'm not sure is true so I won't post them.
Nice video Adam. By the way did you see any hidden Mickey's?
Walt disney is my idol too
That's cool to see Adam. Where is his brother buried at? Fred Roger's inspires me having been born in Pittsburgh PA a lot like Walt Disney inspires you. Fred taught me to use our imaginations. We should use our imagination and, make our dreams come true 👍.
the reason i asked that security at that glendale cemetery is pretty strict and they dont let anyone in there.

Who the hell dares to talk about Michael Jackson here? Walt Disney is bigger than Jackson could ever, ever be.
My Dad met Walt Disney when He was young
Nice video but... that door squeak with earphones on🤦🏾♂️
get some gardeners from epcot over there to clean up the weeds...
I tought he was cryogenised
R.I.P
suppose his parents had named him cletus instead of walt--------CLETUS DISNEY
Cletus Disney Studios.....dang.
Great video, except Walt was cremated. not buried.
Or was he frozen and kept under the Pirates of the Carribean...
I was expecting to see a Disney employee walk out and tell you that you are banned from seeing Walt's grave.
O.K. he is there. But isn't another part of his body being preserved by cryogenics? (Sorry if that is spelled incorrectly.)
miss ya adam.. Hog over!
isnt the freedom mausoleum locked how did you get in there
I thought he had himself frozen....maybe that was Sam Walton? OR neing raised by a mom with addiction for tabloids :-\
Well done as always Mr.Woo!
PEACE
When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are............. :-)
Just think about the legacy Walk Disney left behind.
im sure you ment to say Land not World
So he wasn't frozen then.
Paul Walker is buried nearby from what I understand.
I thought his body got burnt after his death into ashes?
FREE THE WOO!!!....Walt never would have banned you from WDW ...he probably would have offered u a job...he loved the dreamers of the world...FREE THE WOO
