4:12. 8/12/24. I just made this. ALL ANGLE CUTS ARE 45 DEGREES. I made each piece 9 inches long. Equates to a diameter of 19 inches. Pretty big. Maybe start with a smaller piece. ( 7 inch?). I used inch and one half screws. I attached each "layer" with glue (Titebond Ultimate) and secured with 2 and one half pneumatic 16 gage nails. I ripped the wood to 1.5 by 1.75. My concern was having sufficient nail length (2.5 inches) to secure each layer. My thought, the nail penetration into the lower layer of 0.75 inches would be sufficient to hold layers together till the glue dries.
Hi pinkfluffydino it seems that there are eight sides if you divide 180 degrees by the the number of sides it should give you the angle of 22.5 degrees. Terry
Sorry its late but just tried building one myself.... And the cuts where made at 45 degrees since there single miters and double which would make them in an agle of 22.5. But since its one miter connecting both pieces the miter will be a 45

nice video☝☝☝👍👍👍
под каким углом резали на торцовке?
Probably 22.5
what is the size of the pieces of wood
В комплекте замечательного набора инструментария не хватает вертикально-сверлильного и схемы-размеров деталей для кашпо (для понимания начинающих).
Good!
What type of varnish are you finishing the wood with?
