Beautiful and unusual planter box. I really like contrasting colors so I might make alternating levels a darker tone, then a light one and so on. But then some would like it better how you made it so it's in the eye of the beholder. First time I've seen a planter box made that way. Was much simpler than I would have thought from the picture.

A mi tambien las tablas rectas no me coincidieron. Midiendo un poco a las tablas rectas les faltaba 17mm o 18 mm (o sea, en vez de medir 34,5 deberia medir 36,2). Pero no quise cortar otra tablas largas para no perderlas. Así que corte las tablas con corte diagonal de 30° 8,5 mm
good plan but I didn't put a finger up 'cause using a stapler to nail the wood I think it's not serious, however, here in France, we will never believe that it's a cabinetmaker who has does but an industrial machine.
Love the design, looks good. I started the project and by my reckoning the measurement of the side panels should be 365mm not 345mm as shown on the plan. I found my pieces were all 20mm short when assembled with the two 185mm angled pieces and had to re-cut them. Am I missing something?
Looks very simple to do. How amazing a simple idea can turn into a sleek design. However, this might be a good place for the bees/hornets to make their nests since there are open spaces around that planter. Also, this can be more eye-caching and last longer if it is painted.

i think if the woodgrain was focused on, these would look stunning. all stains and all colours etc. combo colours
