I thought it had to do something about me not having enough ram but once I made the switch to ssd fixed my stuttering/lag issue. Thank you! 🙏🏼
Dude, I was just about to uninstal due to a huge lag, moving the game on the ssd solved the issue - thank you!
Works for the new COD MW3 in 2023, thanks for the help man. I've had lag in the beginning of matches for years and never could figure out why. Moving my game from my Hard drive to my SSD fixed it!
Yes it has been so annoying to me. im currently switching to SSD hope it fixes the issue!
so happy to see this comment section with people who have had the same problem as me. i've looked arounf online and no one seems to mention the stuttering problem that keeps happening usually at the beginning of every game that makes it unplayable. i assumed it was my hard drive but couldnt confirm as no one could test it for me. this game despite being very similar to MW 2019 is just not optimised for hard drives at all
Quick simple and easy , appreciate it
Finally MW2/WZ2 is loading properly! 7 months in and this solved my problems! My game was installed on a hdd and I’ve moved over to an m.2 drive. My game always stuttered which felt like lag particularly for the first minute or 2 of my games. Since the switch the game loads in great and runs as it should. Definitely recommend storing the game on an m.2/ssd. I have a ryzen 5 5600x and an nvidia 3070 gpu and even with these components the the game was running awful until moving the games location! If you’re having problems I strongly suggest switching!
is 500gb ssd enough?
@@rayden7003 Personally if possible I’d aim for a 1tb m.2 ssd to be safe. As if said I play warzone / MW, if you are only sorting the one game 500gb should be ok however the way the game is going for updates and always taking up more storage space I would strongly reccomend the 1tb as a potential sweet spot 👍🏻 also try and ensure the storage has good read/write speeds 👌🏻
Thank you so much, straight to the point
mines says " call of duty file already exist " so it failed , do i delete my " Call Of Duty HQ " file from my HDD ???
do you know how to fix teredo is unable to qualify?
Just built a new gaming PC. How do I move all my COD games from my old win 10 pc to the new win 11 one? Using Battlenet btw.
I'm already download warzone 2 from battlenet and want to switch to steam, should I download it again?
it keeps saying that it can't paste it because "the folder or file in it is open in another program"
What if you are mid update and run out of space
Thanks for the help
I installed warzone 2.0 on an HDD and it was filled with stutters, I wouldn't reccomend anyone to install warzone 2.0 if you have an HDD. After moving the game to my SSD it doesnt stutter at all.
Same brother
Thank you!
Fixed my issue
Bought new cpu and still the same problem now i will move it to my new m2 and see but im 100% sure it will help..
Edit:
It SOLVED the problem, the HDD was the problem, welcome to the new generation.. :D
Same
how i can move warzone steam files to battlnet without downloading ?
sire, can you make another video to copy warzone 2.0 to the steam ?
helpful, thanks!
dose it sort performance out
So i deleted the cod hq folder in my hard drive, then went to steam and saw the game did not uninstall. So i hit uninstall. I reinstalled the game on my SSD, now the game wont start at all :c
Omg!!! Thx!!!!!!
Thank you bro my hard drive is about to blow up from overload
Thank you brother
Thank you 🙏🏽
I'm hoping you read this and can help me out. I built a new PC and am using only NVMe SSD's. If it matters, Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero, WD Black SN850 (OS Drive bottom slot) and WD Black SN850X (Game drive top slot). When I installed windows via USB, I selected the drive 1 which is the bottom slot, the SN850. Everything is up and running but later on I found out the EFI System and Recovery partitions are installed on the top drive and not the drive when I installed Windows 11 on. How can I move the partitions to the OS drive and get them off my game drive without doing a fresh install?
Simple answer, you can't, there is no way to move partitions between physical drives
You might be able to achieve your goal by recreating the partitions and deleting the unwanted partitions from the game drive, but I'd suggest clean instal, it will save you time, frustration and a lot of googling
Can you make a new video for mw3?
Dope vid
no option to move install location what
So I just did this on Steam with PUBG. Worked just as you said. I cant get MW2 Warzone 2.0 to show the Move File button… what am I not doing here. I made my new SSD the default. But mw2 gives no option to move
Edit. I had to restart once before my new SSD would show up for some reason. Worked after that. Thanjs
Could this be the problem I be having with lagging and stuttering. Shoot it’ll take 4-5 min to even load the game up so if this fixes everything then you are my savior 🙏😭
it said the this file doesn’t contain the correct game :(
What ssd do you recommend? I’m eyeing kingston nv1 because im currently tight on budget. Im just not sure if it will remove the stutters
Using that model as my main SSD Games drive and it works flawless, you don't need to pay 200+ for a NVME they are pretty fast even cheaper models like Kingston.
Can you make a tutorial where we can transfer battlenet ver of warzone 2 files to steam? Would be much appreciated
This isn't possible without some major nerd stuff. Different format, or way the main files were packaged. Copying files would only save ~200MB twitter.com/TcNobo/status/1593244578139713538
You will need to redownload
Is it not possible to split the games on different drives, like it was for MW19 + Warzone 1? I'd like to keep MW2 on my HDD and put WZ2 on my SSD but it seems like it's all in one, now?
Yep it is possible
Thanks brother, had issues with wz2 on my hardrive where textures wont load for the first minute (never had this issue on wz1) and apparently this was happening mainly on hardrives. Going to switch this to my nvme and see what happens
Same. Damn marshmello buildings for a few minutes, won't load in to the game until the plane is half way across the map, etc.. HDD's suck for games like this, SSD all the way
Yep HDD's are broken right now, texture loading glitches and Stutters. I also switched to my NVME and boom no texture bugs anymore.
For some reason Battlenet doesnt acknowledge my COD steamfiles. I want to move my game from steam to BN since Steam has now major issues with COD constanly crashing(due disconnecting).
But if i uninstall warzone like you do i'll lose all my files right .
you don't, it's connected to your account
i have only one problem with mw2 ,i have game crashes and one of my friends told me to move it on ssd is that worth? PS: i dont have any fps problems .
have you tried to repair the game ?
@@wavezy999 i have ,several times actually
what are your pc specs?
@@gripaz i5-10600k , 2070 super oc , but i undervolte it because high temps , 16gb ram corsair rgb pro , z490A , and Corsair cooler icue h115i .
@@zBad_ yea i cannot run this game either. i only have a problem with this game
how does your file explorer look so nice?
Windows 11
Can I move my steam version to battlenet?
thanks a lot
its unplayable if you have the game in a HDD.
I am so slow that I uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled it to my SSD loll till I searched this up haha rip
day six: do a tutorial on how to stop screen tears on minecraft please
v sync
Never cut and paste game files, or any large amount of files ever. I am a network admin, and definitely will be copying everything the safer way my good sir. Hup hup hup
I mean copying and pasting then deleting is technically better but if cut/paste has been working well enough I usually do it -- assuming it's data I can redownload and not anything too sensitive.
You can hear the kids in the background 😂

This worked for me. I had in installed on my HDD. Unplayable. FPS stutters, lags and freezes no matter the settings. Even on ultra settings the game would take up at around 70-80% of my vram so no problem there. I moved it to an Ssd, tried playing again and it became smooth like butter! Not a slightest hint of a stutter.
I did this.. and then I got BSOD and error was bad_pool_caller
